Updated 5/13/2024 - fixes the spawns for Diamond City generic residents in the
F76VanillaResidents patch mod.  The SKK mod had disabled a marker that spawns the generic settlers.   Added a new mod that protects the Institute residents from removal when the SKK CoD/Openworld mod is enabled. Uploaded Version 2.0  2.1 of my
Workshop Synth Production - Reconfig mod.  This is a major re-write that adds new capability.

AttentionThere was a bug in v 2.0 if you also run SKK Commonwealth of Decay.  This
should be fixed in v 2.1.  The SKK mod was removing the synths before my
mod was tagging them to prevent deletion.


Version 2.x is not compatible with prior 1.x versions:  do not load the update into any in-progress game if you are running any
1.x version.  Load only into new games or into existing games where my
mod has never been installed.
 

3/2/2024 - Added an experimental patch file for Flyable Personal Vertibird and Endless Warfare.  I was having CTD which would diminish when  EW spawns were disabled.  The patch disables EW spawns when the player is in the Vertibird.  I am now seeing far fewer CTD when both mods are installed.

10/08/2023 - Updated the Workshop Synth Production - Reconfig article with information on an old mod that adds a player home with a working synth fabricator.

8/18/2023 - Updated the script fix for FO4 Hotkeys  to address hot keying items that activate an interface or some other effect.  Seems the change I made prior fixed the bug with enchanted weapons but created yet another issue.  See the article for more details Fix for Fallout 4 Hot Keys Weaopn Bug

8/14/2023 - Sorted out another nagging issue with the FO4 Hotkeys mod.  I've notified the author, but until he fixes the mod, I'm making the fix available here.  See Fix for Fallout 4 Hot Keys Weaopn Bug for more information.

8/13/2023 -  An updated version (1.1-Beta) of  Workshop Synth Production - Reconfig w Kids was uploaded.. The bugs with the synth children should be fixed; however, this version is BETA and may still have some bugs. Thus far it seems to be working as I intended in my current game. 

A known issue, is the spawned child will be settler size then shrink to child size when exiting the fabricator.  This is due to the spawn marker  which was never intended to spawn children.  I am looking to see it there might be a workaround.


8/12/2023 Uploaded an alternate version of  Workshop Synth Production - Reconfig which now supports the creation of synthetic children.  Requires Diverse Children by ANiceOakTree .  Orphans of the Commonwealth - More Children is recommended since it adds craftable kids clothing.

5/31/2023 - Began adding compatibility mods for  SKK's Commonwealth of Decay (Open World Survival) which prevent the removal of selected human NPCs / corpses related to the normal game and mod added npcs.  See the article Compatibility Patches for SKK Commonwealth of Decay (Openworld Survival) for more info.


11/23/2022 - Cleaned up the  Workshop Synth Production reconfig patch to include only the changed scripts and sources.  Also restored the vanilla recipes for the synth cultures and components.  The prior version included more complex recipes I use for more challenge.  Those modified recipes are now available as an optional download as well as another patch mod which adds stashes of both cultures and components to collect from containers in The Institute.

7/23/2022  - The Mechanist Settler 
mod found in optional files was updated (v1.1) with improved settler logic and released as an esl  flagged esp.
Added Hack Protectrons as Settlers by SKK  and several member suggested mods to the mod list below.  Isable Cruz, The Mechanist, is included in my Recruitable NPCs  mod, so use one or the other.
