About this mod

This is a retexture of default female character body (only the young type). Just sharing a mod I use in my game.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
This mod started as a feet texture mod for my personal use, but I've decided to modify the whole female body to keep things consistent. Textures aren't perfect, expect some minor color mismatches or visual seams in places where various parts of the body textures meet. It might be visible at certain angles and direction of light, which - to my understanding - is caused by normal maps not being well connected on the body (this issue is present on the default textures as well, to some extent). My lack of proper modding skills also plays a role ;)
I also couldn't find the female player character face textures anywhere, so I made a temporary solution by fading the new skin textures gradually around the neck area, which leaves the neck and head untouched by my mod. If I succeed in finding correct face texture files, I might get back to update the whole mod.

I recommend using this with The Feet Between - An Elden Ring Barefoot Mod by DumpTruckChan, which removes footwear from all vanilla armors.

The mod comes with four versions:
- Dark Nails - fingernails and toenails are painted black
- Dark Nails and Dirty Feet - fingernails and toenails are painted black and there's dirt on the soles of the feet
- Default Nails - fingernails and toenails are just like in the game by default
- Default Nails and Dirty Feet - fingernails and toenails are just like in the game by default and there's dirt on the soles of the feet

Installation:
1. Install Mod Engine -> https://github.com/soulsmods/ModEngine2/releases ; also, check a tutorial -> How to Mod Elden Ring Using Mod Engine 2
2. Download one of the provided versions of my mod (Dark Nails or Default Nails), unpack and drop the "parts" folder into Mod Engine's "mod" folder. (path: Mod Engine 2\ mod\)
3. Run the game through the Mod Engine's "launchmod_eldenring.bat" file. (otherwise you might get banned, from what I heard).
4. OPTIONAL - if you decide to use The Feet Between - An Elden Ring Barefoot Mod, and want to see my changes as well, you NEED to install DumpTruckChan's mod first (following his instructions), and then drop the "parts" folder from my mod into Mod Engine's "mod" folder, overwriting one file from The Feet Between mod.

Compatibility:
It will be incompatible with any mod that uses this file: fc_f_0000.partsbnd.dcx within "parts" folder. Just as described above, to see my changes you need to overwrite the other mod's file with mine.
It will also not be compatible with mods that change the whole body model (like EBB Improved), because my textures are based on the default female body from the game.

Issues:
Like I mentioned in the description, there are some small visual seams / mismatches here and there, mostly due to normal maps being imperfect. If you don't look very close, you probably won't notice.
