DESCRIPTION
This mod improves the CrystalCoat feature for the player's Rayfield Caliburn. Allowing sub-part customization, multiple paint aspects and a custom color picker widget.
This is the model you can buy at the autofixer.

Notice: in order for this mod to work properly you shall install either Crystal Coat Fix v2.12 or Enhanced Vehicle System.

If you want to customize the headlights / tail lights using the primary color or to use another color or if you want to keep
CrystalCoat enabled after getting out of the car I recommend you to add my other mod Enhanced Vehicle System.

I want to create a translation for this mod
Great ! If you are willing to participate and make this mod support a new language, you can do it easily by following this tutorial.
The mod already contains English and French languages.

I want to create a settings package for my users
Creating a settings package can be useful if you are leading a mod collection to be deployed to numerous users and you want to customize the default settings of the mod for all your users. Of course your users will still be able to set the settings they want but the settings package will override the mod's default settings.You may follow this tutorial.

Great ! I have created a tutorial on the wiki for this purpose.

MOD SETTINGS
This mod provides some settings that will change your experience depending on your preferences. Open the menu and click on "Mod Settings" then look for the mod name and change the settings as you wish. The settings will persist upon restart of the game.

You can choose between 4 paint aspects: Matte, Metallic, Glossy and Iron.
You can set the appearance details for the base vehicle and for when the CrystalCoat is activated.

For each part of the vehicle you can choose between the following appearances:
- Standard: no change.
- Coated: preserves the original material and apply CrystalCoat coloring over it.
- Painted: use a paint material and apply CrystalCoat coloring over it.
- Gold: a polished gold material.
- Silver: a polished silver material.
- Carbon: a carbon fiber material.
- 10 predefined glossy colors.

Some parts may also be hideable. "Coated" and "Painted" choices are not available for CrystalCoat OFF state.

For each part of the vehicle you will have a picture hint to illustrate which areas of the vehicle will be modified.


REQUIREMENTS
  • Game version: v2.12.
  • Phantom Liberty: working.
  • REDmod: for any file marked with "REDmod" you need to install and configure REDmod: https://youtu.be/MTgQtuaWtIY (not my video !)

INSTALLATION
Simply extract the ZIP archive into the game folder.
