The Commander Portrait Loader is a BattleTech mod allowing you to use custom PNGs as portraits and to select one of 26 voices for your Commander when starting a new campaign.

The Commander Portrait Loader is a BattleTech mod allowing you to use custom PNGs as portraits and to select one of 26 voices for your Commander when starting a new campaign.
Requirements
- Modtek or the built in ModLoader
- if using ModTek install using the instructions here
- Allows you to use any PNG file placed in the mod folder and use it as your Commander portrait.
- Allows you to choose one of 26 voices for your commander during character creation.
- After installing BTML and ModTek, put the CommanderPortraitLoader folder into the \BATTLETECH\Mods\ folder.
- Place any png you like to use for your commander in \BATTLETECH\mods\CommanderPortraitLoader\Portraits.
- Start the game.
- Start a new campaign.
- Your PNG(s) should now be available as a preset at the top of the portrait list.
- Select one of the 26 voices (13 female, 13 male) or the original Onboard AI voice.
