Description
This mod was born as an experiment with the new artificial intelligence tools for creating digital art and as an exercise to improve my graphics manipulation skills. So far I am satisfied with the end result.
Right now this mod is in 'beta' and until v1.0 some images will be placeholder (they still are an improvement).
If you find any problems, have any suggestions or want to see something changed please let me know in the comments.
Hope you enjoy the mod!
Requirements:
Commander Portrait Loader is a 'soft' requirement.
You can still use this without installing that mod but the portraits for Glitch, Behemoth and Dekker during the starting (tutorial) mission will not be updated, and only during that mission. Afterwards you'll see their portraits updated. That particular mission uses a different set of portraits that can only be changed with the aforementioned mod.
If you want to use Commander Portrait Loader but for any reason the version hosted on Nexus is giving you problems, install this one instead:

Installation instructions
Just unpack the folders provided into your '\BATTLETECH\Mods' folder. Overwrite if asked.
What comes next?
Up to 1.0:
*
* Re-do a couple of images that are placeholder and not up to standard.
* Finish the remaining portraits!
*
* Try new 'stuff'™
FAQ
Q: Your installation instructions are weird... how do I install this?
A: Just unpack the provided folders into your '\Battletech\Mods\' folder. If you want to go the extra mile install Command Portrait Loader (which I highly recommend but is not required for this mod to work).
Q: Can I install this during my current playthrough or I have to start a new one?
A: You can install this midgame, it should be fine and see every portrait updated no problem. The exception being if you reload at the start of a campaign during the initial mission with Glitch, Behemoth and Dekker, those portraits work differently during that particular mission (I think), but who reloads at that point anyway?
Q: I'm a mod author and want to add these images to my own modpack. Either for this, or another game. Can I?
A: You can, for the most part (check the 'permissions and credits' tab for details).
Q: Your mod has a virus! You see I know bout ocmputers, I'm using Wdindows 11 on my grandma's laptop all by myelsf.
A: No. 😒
