Install BDB Voice Pack mod - it fixes the Pilot Customization UI which this mod breaks.

It will not fix an old save, but on a new game the Pilot UI functions normally and you can cycle voice selection once again. It also fixes the bug with editing the Commander after game start; the portrait no longer resets.
I'm having some difficulty using this mod. It seems to install just fine, loads the pictures of the pilots fine. But when I try to remove some that I don't want, they still show up in pilot creation. Also I can't seem to add any custom pictures as a pilot portrait. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, I looked up instructions of the Battle Tech Save Editor and from what I understood it should load the image just fine. I tried with a couple of the images included in this mod to verify if it was all images or just a select few. The ones from this mod loaded in the Save Editor. So I'm not sure if I'm supposed to change something elsewhere in this mod or what I'm supposed to do.
I know I'm doing something wrong, I'm just not sure what it is.
Unfortunately the implementation of the commander's voice breaks customization of your other pilots by making it impossible or at least extremely difficult to change their voices and worse, causes their voices to default to a specific voice if you so much as click the customization button. I would love, love, love this mod if it were JUST the portrait loader without the voice addition. If that version is ever created, I'll be there 100%. In the meantime, I'm uninstalling.
It looks like this mod completely breaks the game right now. I just finished my 6th reinstall of the game (oh joy) and tracked down this mod causing neverending loading screens. Is there any chance this can be fixed somehow since the base portraits the game gives are of... questionable quality to put it kindly.
Fixed the problem, apparently another mod pack that added portraits had a few bad formats in them, core mod works just fine just be aware of badly converted portrait packs.
Don't know If I did something wrong, the mod shows up in loaded mods and the voices are available but portraits don't seem to work. I installed both requirements and even tried using Save editor to edit in the Portrait but no dice.
Hey there --- just wondering if you managed to update this mod. I am having the same issue as this player. Voices work for the protagonist but not the custom portraits.
As a modder myself I know the drama of updating so often. Hopefully, it can work again!

i can confirm it works on my end. Since i used the Save Editor.
As a modder myself I know the drama of updating so often. Hopefully, it can work again!
