Description

New Daggers. While these weapons will still fulfill the same role as your old fashion base game daggers, I also try to make them act better a support weapons when carrying them offhand. Now, dual wielders will have some more room than just pick up dual wielder feat and the bigger weapon they found.

From 2.0 all daggers use custom models and textures.

General Characteristics:

-Coup de Grace: A weapon action that can only be made with a offhand dagger against an incapacitated target an deals extra damage. (The damage will scale with character level)

-Main Gauche: When using with a sword, you can use a offhand dagger as a parry dagger and get +1AC. You can't use this with the (better) bonus of my blades and rapiers mods

-When using it offhand with a Drow Rapier, daggers will count as drow duel weapon for the purpose of "Menzoberranzan Fencing". When using it offhand with an Elven Blade, you'll get the "Blade and Dagger" blades passive.

-Specially High tiers, have abilities to make them suitable main weapons, for those who want to play a classics dual dagger character.

From 2.0 all daggers can be turned into Elven Shortswords using the Elven Smithing Kit (see Customization below). Shortswords won't have the daggers special rules but they gain "Swift Strike" once per combat and possible Initiative bonus.

They also will use dagger's custom models but slighted bigger than the daggers (about the size of a base game shortsword).

Location

The basic models can be bought at different locations:

-Common: Dammon at the Grove (Act I)

-Uncommon (+1): Brem at Zhentarim hideout and Blurg at the Miconic colony (Act I)

-Rare (+2): Quartermaster Talli at Last Light Inn and Lann Tarv at Moonrise Towers (Act II) and Fytz the Firecracker at Lowtown (Act III)

Among the special ones, there is a couple of them that can be bought too. They are still unique and can only be bought one time.

The location of the special ones are:

Customization

You can change between Elven Daggers and Elven Shortswords using the Elven Smithing Tool (not included, separate download. Follow the link). Just use the tool on a item to change weapons back and forth.

Installation

BG3 Mod Manager is recommended.

Use either the Vortex Mod Manager or the BG3 Mod Manager and install this mod.

Make sure you deploy your mods if using Vortex or export the mod list if using BG3 Mod Manager.

For Update just overwrite old version pak with the new one. If you want to be 100% sure everything goes smoothly do the following:
-Remove equiped weapons from this mod from your characters (you can leave them in the inventory, no need to store them), save your game and exit.
.-Install the new version (just overwrite old one).
-Load, you can reequip your weapons as you wish.
As I said, nothing of this should be needed, I update like hundreds of times while testing just overwritten the old file. But the above proccess should be the correct one to update items mods.

Uninstallation isn't support after patch 5. You can try to use a mod that create a temporary container, like tutorial chest summoning. Place items in it and wait for it to vanish into the void with them. Save, exist and remove the mod. There's also several tutorials on nexus that gives methods that may work. Remember to deploy/export after uninstalling mods.

Optional

If you want the items to appear in the tutorial chest use: Elven Weaponry - Tutorial Chest. Load it after all main files from weaponry series.

Alternatively if you want to spam them with cheat engine or some other tool the UUID codes are:
