SUPPORTS 5eSPELLS AND MULTI CLASSING
- Added level 13-20 (all classes)
- Spells can be cast using higher spell slots (1-9)
- Added more resources, spell slots and class features
I needed a level extension mod and found that most other mods lacked some features or were out of date by a few patches.

Changelogs
Installation:
1. Unzip the .zip file to get the mod file (e.g. UnlockLevelCurve.pak).
2. To install the mod I suggest using BG3ModManager.
Search for it on Google and you'll find the github by LaughingLeader. Go through the installation guide on the github page.

Installation FAQ:
- Install the Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Fixer
- This mod works with existing playthroughs (but your main character may be a different level than your companions).
- If you hit level 12 before installing the mod and it still says 'max level reached', gaining xp will update the cap.
- If you encounter issues after installing the mod in the middle of an existing campaign, try respeccing your characters (go to camp and talk to Withers).
   - Have the problem character die and ask to be revived by Withers.
   - Respeccing the character via Withers can fix some issues with main character level.
   - Remove the mod and load a save before installing the mod, respec with Withers and save at level 1. Reinstall the mod and load that save.
- If you encounter any issues during installation make sure that the correct "Game Data Path" and "Game Executable Path" are set in the mod manager.
- If the mod doesn't load, make sure to select the public profile and save your mod load order again.
- If you are using multiple mods and encounter issues, try disabling all other mods and see if the issue persists.
   - After testing that this mod works on its own, but enabling multiple mods causes issues, double check your mod load order.
   - Try moving this mod and the patches to the end of your load order.
- Sometimes after an update, you need to re-save your load order. If this does not work:
   - Remove all mods from your load order and mod folder.
   - Verify game files through Steam (Local Files -> Verify integrity of game files...)
   - Start the game and start a new game. Then close the game.
   - Reinstall the mod.
- If you have problems after Patch 4, delete and reinstall Mod Fixer.
- If after patches and hotfixes your mod load order resets when you start your game: Forums nexusmods - solved-game-says-mods-disabled-but-they-are-enabled-in-bg3mm-please-help

You can safely ignore the pop-ups at the start. The mod still works:
- Launching the game gives the following pop-up:
"Mods detected - We've detected installed mods. These can cause crashes, or issues running the game. Please visit our support page for more information:"
- Starting a new save or continuing an old save with new mods gives the following pop-up:
"We were unable to create a working story. Your add-on setup might be invalid. The game will continue with the story from the main adventure."

This mod does not modify enemies or NPCs. Only the main character and companions are affected.

Multiplayer:
Please make sure everyone in your party is using
- exactly the same mods!
- exactly the same mod versions!
- exactly the same load order!

Multiclassing:
With this mod you can level up and multiclass up to a combined character level 20. Just like in D&D 5th edition normal rules.
Example: Level 14 Barbarian / Level 6 Fighter
If you level up one class to level 20, you cannot level up any further or multiclass into any other classes.


5e Spells Mod Patch:
Support added for the mod 5e Spells (by Celes / DiZ91891) via a patch.
This new patch is not stand-alone and must be used together with UnlockLevelCurve and 5e Spells.
Please use the following load order:
 1. 5eSpells
 2. UnlockLevelCurve
 3. UnlockLevelCurve_Patch_5eSpells
Optional: Can be used together with other patches. The order of patches doesn't matter.
Not compatible with Improvement Patch -> Instead use the combined 5eSpells_Improvement patch

5eSpells Note: Some of the higher level spells (7+) appear as 'Not Found' - The high level spells' names and descriptions haven't been updated to use strings inside localization/english/5eSpells.xml, they are still written inside the Data folder (which was allowed in Early Access, but not after Launch). This is something that needs to be updated from the 5eSpells mod side.
Note 2: These subclasses have not been added: Cleric (Death), Cleric (Peace), Sorcerer (Aberrant Mind, Clockwork Soul, Divine Soul, Shadow), Rogue (Ninja), Art of Melee Weapons, Art of Ranged Weapons, Art of Summoning, Art of Magic, Occultist, Troubadour


NOTE: Other XP patches
Please do not publish new alternative XP/mod patches without contacting me first.
If anyone wants to level faster or slower than the options I provided, they can create their own a custom XP patch for themselves. Just follow this mod (https://www.nexusmod...gate3/mods/1464).
If you feel like there is an XP curve that better fits everyone, then we can discuss adding another patch on this original mod page.

Rebalanced NewScale XP curve Patch:
Leveling in 5e (and Baldurs Gate 3) has something called the "XP Valley" where progress from level 4-11 slows to a crawl.
This patch implements ThinkDM's revised XP table, which helps smooth out level progression.

Double XP Patch:
At the moment I estimate there is just enough XP to get to level 20 by the end of the game if you explore everything.
This is an alternate version of the mod that scales down the XP curve so you can get to level 20 twice as fast, so you don't need to turn over every rock for xp.

NOTE: Bard does not get a feat at level 3 due to a subclass selection issue. Multiclassing into Rogue does not give a feat (Rogue level 1) due to a proficiency selection issue.

For those that want to use both 5eSpells and an improvement patch, this patch contains both patches in one and solves the incompatibility issue.
