  • This MOD introduces a new Wizard subclass: Dimension Traveler, along with its exclusive class level progression and a variety of new passive features, spells, toggleable passives. While endowing Dimensional Travelers with potent initial abilities, significant negative drawbacks have been designed to restrict their powers.

  • In the latest 2.0 "Plane Crisis" major update, three new challenging bosses have been added. Defeating them provides three unique sets of equipment, a new Level 9 spell to learn, and players can delve into the closely intertwined storyline behind them.

  • Please note: that this MOD may have potential balance issues because its creation was initially intended for my own immersive experience. Since I have already completed the game on the strategy and honor difficulties, my focus is more on the immersive experience rather than game balance. Additionally, the mod aims to lift some restrictions, allowing me to explore more game content within a single playthrough.
  • For instance, in previous games, due to the limitations of spell slots, I had to make choices among many spells. Over time, this would result in using only a few highly efficient spells, meaning that I would miss out on a significant amount of game content. This mod is designed to address this shortcoming for me.

Embark on the adventure

When you start a new game or reset your class, you might be surprised to find that even though you are level 1, you can choose a subclass for the wizard, and among them is the Dimension Traveler.
Yes, this mod adjusts the level at which wizards choose their subclasses to level 1, allowing players to enjoy the abilities and role-playing immersion of the Dimension Traveler subclass right from the beginning of the game.
Of course, you don't have to worry: while other wizard subclasses can be chosen at level one, their unique abilities will remain unchanged and can be obtained at their original levels.

  • Dimension Traveler gains Magic Disintegration, Torment Abyss, Spell Quake, Non-Lethal Spell, and Dimensional Leap at level 1.

The following is the additional information that needs to be explained:
  • Magic Disintegration
This passive feature is the core of this MOD, allowing players to cast spells of any spell level without consuming spell slots. 
However, it comes with significant drawbacks, reducing the maximum health by 50% (after Constitution modification), lowering Constitution by 7, and decreasing Strength by 3. 

Additionally,  its existence directly gives rise to the appearance of Torment Abyss and Spell Quake.



  • Spell Quake
The effect of this passive feature is roughly similar to the wild magic in the base game.
The difference lies in the fact that the probability of triggering Spell Quake will gradually increase with the spell level used by the player.
Required roll for a successful trigger is as follows (all using 1d20):
Level 1: 20Level 2: 18Level 3: 16Level 4: 14Level 5:12Level 6:10Level 7: 8Level 8: 6Level 9: 4


Every time the player casts a spell, a 1d20 die is rolled. If the required number is reached, a random wild magic effect is triggered. 


! This can lead to unforeseen and dreadful consequences !

But, the most significant difference, as described in the passive feature, is the possibility of attracting the attention of the goddess of magic, Mystra. 


  • Dimensional Leap
This class action provides players with a completely new means of teleportation, unaffected by line of sight and featuring a considerable radius. 
Even rooms that players have not entered before can be accessed directly after acquiring this ability, offering countless new possibilities for your game adventure.


  • Toggle Non-Lethal Spell Attacks
This passive provides the coveted effect many players dream of: when activated, your spells in the upcoming adventures can knock down enemies instead of taking their lives. 
This not only expands player choices and enhances immersion for some players in role-playing but also directly correlates with the spells to be introduced below.



  • Chaotic Cataclysm
This class action will induce Chaotic Cataclysm status on everyone within a 20-meter radius for ten rounds, causing a wild magic surge whenever they cast a spell or cantrip. (Except for you)
Additionally, all present will be Vulnerable to the types of Fire, Cold, Lightning, Thunder, Radiant, Necrotic, Force, and Psychic. (Including you)
Enjoy the wild magic tsunami!


  • Shattered Allegiance
This spell allows you to forcibly command enemies in a non-lethal knocked-out status to fight for you, lasting until a long rest. 
The controlled enemies will continue to follow your step until you've had a good night's sleep... and perhaps, they might harbor some thoughts of revenge.


  • Disintegration Ray
This spell is my favorite creation, featuring two variants: Concentrating and Diffusing. The enemies' saving throws depend on the player character's spell save DC.
The Concentrating variant is particularly potent, delivering a devastating blow to a single target enemy with impressive visual effects.
The Diffusing variant deals massive damage to multiple enemies in a straight line, boasting high efficiency in causing casualties.
But don't celebrate too soon; wielding the power of a ninth-level spell without expending spell slots violates the rules set by Mystra. 
The resulting Spell Quake might lead to ominous consequences...

  • The Standard Edition is not compatible with other wizard subclass mods as it changes the subclass selection to level 1.
    To ensure compatibility with other wizard subclasses, choose the Compatible Edition, where level 1 passive features are postponed to level 2.
  • I recommend not enabling too many mods simultaneously.
