My Squirrel friend doesn't level up or attack!?
The squirrel levels up and grows at set player levels. Namely level 3, 5, 8 and 12. Besides gaining new powers, she also physically grows larger!
Make sure you Long Rest when you hit these levels to level her up as well!

Get the Races.lsx patch from Padme4000
After that you can install any of these mods for more hairstyles! Link
Regarding the Optional Dialog Files:
Do not load the file into your load order, leave it in overrides. It overwrites some vanilla dialog, so I do not suggest keeping it installed if not actively playing a Goblin.
Floating heads?
All heads have custom skeletons and because of this you must set animation level of detail to HIGH or you will get floating heads!
