What is this mod?


Allows for more variety in tiefling designs, somewhat inspired by Pathfinder tieflings wherein it's moreso a fiendish heritage on top of whatever base race you choose. In essence just adds all tiefling horns (+ 23 extra vanilla ones and those from CustomHornsCollection) and tail options for all other races (except dragonborn). Also includes selectable nails now, with 4 different options! 

See Images tab for all the extra horns, they are mostly taken and edited from NPCs and creatures (such as cambions).


Note: The extra horns have been added for tieflings, but please note that they are not specially fitted in any way - so expect issues with alignment. I will NOT re-rig them because of the work involved.

Compatibility

This mod isn't natively compatible with any other mod that affects the Races.lsx file (for vanilla races), which tend to be used by
some CC color mods - especially those adding lip, makeup and horn colors - also Autosnap hair mods.

Luckily Padme has been super kind enough to put together a mod that aims to make these mods compatible via this patch. It has to be loaded at the bottom of your load order, after mine (and any other CC mods made compatible).

Please read the description on which mods have been patched, you can put in a request for compatibility if the one you use isn't on the list that would need it. Also be aware that it needs to be updated whenever I update my mod (as well as others), please be patient!

The horns and tail only show up for vanilla races, custom ones will require compatibility added by their respective mod authors or the patch mentioned above.

Use BG3 Mod Manager - uninstall to remove.

Some issues/bugs

Expect occasional gaps and discoloration between body and tail - I tried fixing both for most bodies but it's going to look a little awkward no matter what as the non-tiefling bodies obviously aren't created with tails in mind!

Because of the method used for attaching horns to all bodytypes and races, their size and placement might be off at times - this won't be fixed as it'd require rigging and exporting individual horn models (which is just not feasible). It's a similar reason as to why dragonborn don't have the horns (for the foreseeable future at least).
