All the official Monk subclasses were already made before I had the chance to catch up, so naturally I had to expand a bit. Lately I've been increasingly fascinated with what people can come up with when adapting classes and subclasses from other video games, and since I've been a World of Warcraft player since its launch 20 years ago, it was just a matter of time before I crossed the border into that 5e adaptation goldmine. My Mistweaver Monk has been one of my mains and I've always loved the rather unique mechanic of using mysterious mists to heal, and thankfully I came across Iriazi's adaptation of this Monk subclass/specialization, which I absolutely loved. So enjoy my first ever Monk subclass mod, and hopefully you'll enjoy healing as a Monk as much as I do!

SUBCLASS FEATURES

Beginning at 3rd level, you learn how to channel the chi within yourself and those who oppose you in order to heal the injured.
Your mystical touch can mend wounds. As an Action, you can spend 1 Ki Point to restore a number of hit points equal to a roll of your Martial Arts die + your Wisdom modifier to a creature you can see within 9m of you. You may target a single ally or replace your Flurry of Blows attacks with a use of this feature without expending Ki Points for the healing.
Works like Way of Mercy's Hands of Healing, except it has increased range. I opted to include two versions in a spell container—one with an Action cost that delivers a single "punch," and one with a Bonus Action cost that mimics Flurry of Blows, but heals instead of dealing damage.

Additionally at 3rd level, you are able to envelop your allies in a restorative mist. As a Bonus Action, you can envelop a number of creatures up to 1 + your Wisdom Modifier within 9m of you with renewing mists. These mists last for a number of rounds equal to your Wisdom Modifier. At the start of a creature's turn that is enveloped by these mists, they regain hit points equal to a roll of your Martial Arts die.
Additionally, whenever you spend Ki Points, each creature with Renewing Mists recovers hit points equal to your Wisdom Modifier.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom Modifier and regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
A lot of aspects are based off your Wisdom Modifier in this one, which makes it obvious you probably want to have a higher Wisdom stat than your average Monk. As for the second part of this feature, as long as something has a Ki Point cost, it'll trigger the additional healing portion, be it Step of the Wind, Flurry of Blows (or Teachings of the Monastery), Patient Defense, etc.

Beginning at 6th level, you learn how to use your ki to expel harmful effects and breathe life back into those around you. As an Action, you may spend 3 Ki Points to copy the effects of the Lesser Restoration spell on a creature that you can see within 9m of you. Additionally, you may spend 4 Ki Points to cast the Revivify spell.
Beginning at 11th level, you are able to spend 6 Ki Points to copy the effects of the Greater Restoration spell.
Whenever you use this feature, the target of the spell receives the benefit of your Renewing Mist feature without expending a use of it.
Makes it possible to provide additional support and top yourself and your allies off whenever something goes wrong.

Starting at 11th level, you are able to infuse those around you with protective ki. When a creature you can see within 9m of you would take damage, you may use your reaction and spend up to 5 Ki Points to encase them in a protective cocoon of mist. The creature gains temporary hit points equal to a roll of your Martial Arts die per Ki Point spent.
Additionally, when you would normally roll one or more dice to restore hit points to a creature with these temporary hit points, you instead use the highest number possible for each die.
Triggers an interrupt when you or an ally is about to be dealt damage. Note that the temporary hit points granted can vary greatly since it uses die rolls, but if you manage to prevent enough damage, you can provide a great deal of healing now that your outgoing healing towards that creature is maximized.

At 17th level, your mastery of restorative mists have become unparalleled. As an Action, you can invoke the teachings of Yu'lon, the Jade Serpent. You can spend up to 6 Ki Points. Creatures of your choice within 9m of you recover hit points equal to a roll of your Martial Arts die per Ki Point spent.
If you spend at least 2 Ki Points on this feature, affected creatures gain the benefits of your Renewing Mist feature. If you spend 6 Ki Points on this feature, effected creatures gain temporary hit points equal to half the healing they receive from this feature.
*Requires a mod that allows levelling past level 12.*
Provides tons of healing for all allies around you, and gives further benefits if you spend additional Ki Points. I honestly couldn't be bothered to create a custom green dragon to spawn just for this feature, so I opted for the caster to invoke the teachings of Yu'lon rather than summoning an effigy of her. For the uninitiated: Yu'lon the Jade Serpent is the "patron saint" of Mistweavers in WoW.
