OATH OF REDEMPTION HAS COME TO BALDUR'S GATE 3!

This is one of the first subclasses that I ever wanted to do, so I'm very happy to finally release it! It relies heavily on scripts, so Script Extender is necessary for it to function. If you don't have Script Extender or can't use it, you won't be able to use this mod. Further information on each subclass feature is provided below.

An enormous thank you to Celes for providing me with the scripts required for Rebuke the Violent, Aura of the Guardian and Emissary of Redemption to function. Without your help I wouldn't have been able to release this at all.

I'm currently in the process of adding custom oathbreaking events, and will update the mod as I add more. You are very welcome to share any suggestions for events in the game where it would make sense for a Redemption Paladin to break their oath! I'm also aiming at implementing custom dialogue eventually, if I figure out how to do it in an elegant way.

CLASS FEATURES

OATH SPELLS

3rd level: Sanctuary, Sleep
5th level: Calm Emotions, Hold Person
9th level: Counterspell, Hypnotic Pattern
13th level: Otiluke's Resilient Sphere, Stoneskin
17th level: Hold Monster, Wall of Stone

When you take this Oath at level 1, you gain the following Channel Oath option:

You can use your Channel Oath to keep an unwavering vigil over an ally. As an Action, you grant an ally resistance to non-magical physical damage for 2 rounds. Furthermore, they regain hit points equal to 1d6 + their Proficiency Bonus should they be the victim of a melee attack for the duration of the effect. This healing triggers only once per round.
NOTES
My own level 1 Channel Oath ability, in line with the other official Paladin subclasses created by Larian. Gives you the ability to make an ally stay alive a bit longer in case they're being harrassed by murderous NPCs. And to be clear, physical damage means Slashing, Piercing and Bludgeoning.

At 3rd level, you gain an additional Channel Oath ability:

You can use your Channel Oath to augment your presence with divine power. As a bonus action, you grant yourself a +5 bonus to Persuasion checks until the next long rest.
NOTES
Like a bunch of other 10 minute duration spells from 5e, this one will last until your next long rest. A +5 to Persuasion is substantial, but probably won't overtune your character.

You also gain the following Channel Oath option at 3rd level:

You can use your Channel Divinity to rebuke those who use violence. Immediately after an attacker within 9m of you deals damage with an attack against a creature other than you, you can use your reaction to force the attacker to make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the attacker takes Radiant damage equal to the damage it just dealt. On a successful save, it takes half as much damage.
NOTES
Works like in 5e. Implemented as an Interrupt immediately after an ally takes damage, so you know how much damage you want or don't want to reflect back at the attacker.

Requires Script Extender to function.

Starting at 7th level, you can shield your allies from harm at the cost of your own health. When a nearby ally takes damage, you can use your reaction to magically take that damage, instead of that creature taking it. This feature doesn't transfer any other effects that might accompany the damage, and this damage can't be reduced in any way.
NOTES
Due to difficulties implementing this RAW, it differs slightly from Rebuke the Violent in that you have to use it before damage is actually dealt. Therefore you won't know how much damage is coming the ally's (and, by extension, your) way until after you've already activated the ability. Like in 5e, the damage can't be reduced through resistances or immunities, but it will in fact be reduced by damage reduction effects, which doesn't seem quite possible to circumvent at the moment. You won't usually see more than 5 or 6 damage reduction at the very most anyway, so it shouldn't be too OP.

Requires Script Extender to function.

Starting at 15th level, a holy presence mends your wounds in combat. You regain hit points equal to 1d6 + half your Paladin level if you end your turn in combat with fewer than half of your hit points remaining and you aren’t Incapacitated.
NOTES
*Requires a mod that allows levelling past level 12.*
Works like in 5e. Simple and to the point.

Requires Script Extender to function.

At 20th level, you become an avatar of peace, which gives you two benefits:

•   You have Resistance to all damage dealt by other creatures.

•   Whenever a creature hits you with an attack, it takes Radiant damage equal to half the damage you take from the attack.

If you attack a creature, cast a spell on it, or deal damage to it by any means but this feature, neither benefit works against that creature until you finish a Long Rest.
NOTES
*Requires a mod that allows levelling past level 12.*
Works like in 5e. Still haven't been extensively tested, so let me know if there are any issues or if it behaves in a way it shouldn't.

Requires Script Extender to function.

SUBCLASS-THEMED DYE

Uses the brown and white theme of the Redemption scalemail.
Can be found in the tutorial chest, and with numerous vendors throughout the game.

POTENTIAL ISSUES/DISCLAIMERS

•   Since Wall of Force isn't in the game and Wall of Stone is, I decided to use the latter for the Redemption spell list.

•   Be aware that Aura of the Guardian uses your reaction, so it's incompatible with both the Protection fighting style and, if you wanted to dish out more damage, Hellish Rebuke.

•    Using Aura of the Guardian to redirect an attack made against a downed ally won't prevent automatic death save fails. We couldn't find a way to solve this I'm afraid.
