This is the first mod in what will hopefully become a series known as "Interiors Improved". The aim of these mods will be to redesign locations in the base game and in mods. These redesigns will keep to the same general theme and layout as the original location, just with greater detail, cohesion, and general visual quality.
For the first Interiors Improved mod, I decided to remake the Vault 22 interior in the mod Hope Lies by Kris Takahashi. The mod has excellent writing and Hope Lies herself is a fantastic character, however I felt that the culmination of her personal quest was a bit underdone. Not only was the cell just a duplicate of Vault 22's atrium, it was also incredibly laggy due to the poor lighting. In this redesign, I modified the layout of the cell and put a greater focus on the radiation and overgrowth present in this area.
Also included is an aspect of the final quest that I think was either cut or non-functional in the original version, that being enemies like spore carriers and giant mantises that would show up during the quest. In the original version, these enemies can't reach the player due to broken navmeshes or inaccessible doors. This redesign amends this.
This mod will be incompatible with any mod that adds anything to the Vault 22 cell in Hope Lies. I don't think that any mod does this, but it's worth noting that if any mod does this, it'll result in issues.
