About this mod

Fort Independence? No way, this is the seat of Minutemen Government. This is CASTLE INDEPENDENCE! Hurrrah!
48 hours in and I'm kind of burned out, if you've got time, just give me some constructive criticism. :)

Saturday 7/14/18 Update: Updated the mods required and/or suggested. I'm not sure how much more I will update this. It's getting to run quite poorly and I'm still considerably unfinished with even the basic layout, let alone decorating everything. I may strip out of the decorations and see if it works better or if it's simply gotten too big for a fairly standard PC.  Sooner or later FO4 will pick at my interest again and I will get back to work on it.  Otherwise it is provided AS-IS.

To Do:
  • Build many of the interior spaces that have yet to be finished (Soldiers Barracks, Officers Barracks, Hospital, Rec Hall second floor, Mess, PA Bay and Armored Response Quarters).
  • Figure out what to do with the 5th star point.
  • Build seaside shanty town and docks.
  • Furnish the lower floor of the CoC building and the second story officers lounge (building between Diner and Rec Hall).
  • Add some more defensive structuring to the back door of the castle.

Current Item Count: 4553

Quick upload of my Castle work in progress. I'm about 48 TOO DAMN MANY hours in. I really like what I've got so far but there is still much to do.

Just looking for some constructive criticism. Also, if anyone has a save right before "The Old Guns" quest, I kind of screwed that up because I broke into the armory before whats-her-face showed up. I'd be interesting in seeing if the build is compatible with that quest line.

By Default: Installs into Slot 3.

Workshop Rearranged is most definitely needed. Other notable mods would be :

Mods:
Eli's Armour Compendium - For workbenches
Do It Yourshelf - Adds decorations
Business Settlements - Adds decorations.
Woody's Wasteland Stuff - Some decoration stuff, mostly balcony railings?
Armor and Weapon Keywords - For workbenches
Armorsmith Extended - For workbenches
OCDectorator - Adds decorations
Invisible Marker Pack - Mod is hidden again. Doesn't affect the settlement in a big way.
Workshop Rearranged - This only adds balcony rails to the crow's nest to the Mod Enhanced Electric Age update.
AWKCR - only required for the ammunition workbench in the corner of the warehouse.
Business Settlements - Adds decorations to a few places in the Mod Enhanced version.
Creative Clutter - Adds decorations.

NOTE: There is serious FPS hits on this settlement as it us in its unfinished state.
My PC:
Intel Core i5, GTX 1070 8gb, 16gb ddr4, 512gb SSD
I play at medium settings with Godrays Off on a 4k TV. (Even at 1080p - High Settings you will see FPS hits).
