    Hello,

Since some questions are asked repeatedly, I'm going to answer some common questions.

Q: Does this impact performance or frame rate?
A: No. None of the water styles should impact performance at all. Everything that is underwater is already drawn by the Creation Engine, and then simply covered up with the water settings. Nothing more and nothing less is being drawn. So the performance of your machine shouldn't change a bit.

Q: Does this change the radiation level of the water?
A: No. Since there are perks that remove radiation from swimming and from drinking, I am leaving the default radiation intact.

Q: Does this prevent bottling water in Survival Mode?
A: No. The water styles are purely cosmetic and do not alter any functionality of the water itself.

Q: Does this change the water in Far Harbor or Nuka-World?
A: Yes and No. Currently the water styles only directly change water settings from the main fallout 4 game (the Commonwealth area). Some of these waters are used in DLC (such as the ocean water). But specific waters made for a DLC (like the Spring of Atom in Far Harbor, or the World of Refreshment ride in Nuka-World) are not touched.

Q: Does this require any DLC?
    A: No.

It is stated at the very top of CWOC that this mod is a new "updated" version.

On my umpteenth playthrough and decided to try the Tropical water. And Wow! It’s a game changer for me - being able to see the Yangtze inall its glory underwater when standing on the barge is just so amazing.
Also, during bright sunlight days, the light makes it to the bottom of all but the deepest sea and consequently the clarity underwater is much improved which is another massive plus.
The water is now so beautifully clear it has a real calming effect and it has become a life affirming pleasure to wander anywhere near any body of water. Kudos to you for a such a magnificent and wonderful mod.
    Endorsed.

nice mod but would be good if some underwater visiblity went with it.
Its kinda weird that from top its clear, green etc .. but underwater doesnt change.

This actually answered a question I had.

Because I'm a manbaby and have an intense fear of deep water because of the lack of visibility.  I have avoided Spectacle Island and the submarine like the plague because of it.  I know damn good and well there's nothing in there, but I am also prone to finding the ONE spot someone missed and falling through the world in a lot of games, so that contributes because I can't see elevation changes.

Doesn’t sound to me like a "manbaby" at all, but rather like thalassophobia, which is nothing to be ashamed of. Even I prefer underwater visibility and I‘m speaking of someone who likes diving in the ocean.

I would really like to try out the toxic sludge variation.
It fits my post-nuclear apocalyptic overhaul perfectly. Beautiful mod!

I am having an issue where this mod is conflicting with NAC X and there are weird purple artifacts that pop up around the water from time to time and it is also causing my game to crash anytime I am near water for very long. So I want to remove this mod for a bit until I figure this out. However, I uninstalled it using NMM, the same way I installed it but, even after uninstalling this mod the water did not go back to the default color/affects. Basically even though I have uninstalled it, it appears this mod is still in affect in my game. Is there some other steps I need to take to completely remove the mod besides just uninstalling with NMM?

i use this mod + wet + NAC X + True Storms + Compatibility patches for these and i never got this problem, it actually makes my game super beautifull and cinematic and i love it :3

      Here the patches i use:
wet and natural and atmospheric commonwealth patch
nac x water lod fix and enhancements
nac x - true storms compatibility patch
      nac x rain splash killer
godrays for NAC (there is a performance friendly value list in the post section of the patch)
      less annoying water rain ripples

      hope i helped a bit ;)?

Great Setup, but for even more beauty:
Reactor ENB (Has some FPS impact but worth it, I can't live without, massive difference)
      ENBLightsHDRPatch.7z
      Enhanced Lights and FX
      Ultra Interior Lighting
      ELFX and ULR merged patch
      Real Water HD for ENB
Wet and natural and atmospheric commonwealth patch
Nac x water lod fix and enhancements
Nac x - true storms compatibility patch
      Nac x rain splash killer
      Godrays for NAC
      Less annoying water rain ripples
      Flowing Rivers
      And of course this mod.

For NAC and this setup you disable interior lighting override and employ the NAC ENB patch in NAC settings.

Nave you seen the NAC MCM addon, very handy...

Edit: I do use true storms and the patch you mentioned, great to hear interior rain sounds, it works perfect.

A brief guide for using this in 2022:

The worldspace part (the water fixes) are in UF4OP, presumably have been added in one of the recent updates. Either load fairly high up on the LO due to vanilla previsibines or remove the entire Worldspace group from the plugin before use. Both UF4OP and PRP carry the river cell correction water assignment in their respective cell headers.

One would only need this mod for the water definitions.

I don't expect an answer but throwing a fishing line out anyway, since I didn't find an answer by searching:

Can this be used alongside Vivid Waters? I'm sure they conflict but is there anything to gain by using both, or would it just be pointless?

Beautiful effects! Using the default clearly visible option cause I feel like it just fits the wasteland palettes best... this clarity is amazing though. Super happy with this, kind of hilarious watching the raider in Nuka Town scour his little area now. Makes exploration a hell of a lot more interesting, you can actually find things underwater without having to be within a few feet to see them. Also works perfectly for all the main map Nuka World rivers and the bulk of Far Harbor, some modded areas too (works with The Marshland, for example).

Would there be any point to use WET along with this, i.e. textures that WET covers this mod doesn't? Absolutely beautiful work by the way, using the moody version and loooooving it! <3

I also came to ask the same question as well if combing other mods like vivid waters would be counteractive.

I think WET has rain textures where WWR doesn't. So you could use them both, but what you get depends on your load order.
