Rain Splash Remover for NAC X Legacy Edition
Let me begin by saying i absolutely love NAC X Legacy Edition. Coming from a previous playthrough with Vivid Weathers + True Storms patched together, ENB+Reshade to running just NAC X with ENB - my game has never looked this good.
l00ping - you are indeed a master craftsman of Fallout 4 mods, very well done sir!
However, there is one new addition to NAC X that (although clever and ambitious in its own right) I just cannot get away with, and that is the rain splash ground effect.
What this mod does:
This mod removes the rain splash ground (+sneaking) effect. It does this by replacing the associated NIF meshes with ones that do not contain nodes that call the visual effect from the vanilla game. It makes no other changes to the NAC X plugin or scripts and should be save game friendly (as in, this can be added or removed without issue mid playthrough)
I haven't extensively tested the mod, I'll be honest, but I have been able to turn the rain splash ground effect off and on by activating/deactivating the mod in my load order to obtain screenshots.
