version 4.04 , downloaded with vortex but my items stay on the same level, any idea what have i done wrong? i have not enough mods to require merges ( i checked) so bad merge is not a problem
You can change the Restored Content - Additional Perks - Next-Gen Meticulous Maintenance Skills - (Enhanced Armor and Enhanced Weapons buffs now last +100%) longer to work perfectly with this mod ?
I might have missed something but i cant find any details what this new effect on Aerondight does, like is it only visiual or sound or adds some elemental effect or more dmg or some stats like crit chance or something like that. And i wanted to ask if that would have problem with mod that lets say adds some special stats to Aerondight like crit change armor penetration and so on? Thank you in advance.
Aerondight's permanent enhancement in vanilla has been removed as it is no longer needed in this mod. Specifically, it is as follows.
In vanilla, killing an enemy with a fully charged Aerondight will reset the charge and give you a permanent enhancement. In this mod, killing an enemy with a fully charged Aerondight will not give you a permanent enhancement, it will remain fully charged.
In vanilla, a lightning effect occurs when Aerondight has a permanent enhancement. In this mod, when you attack while fully charged, a lightning effect will occur.
All parts other than the above are the same as vanilla. The lightning effect itself only has visuals and sounds and does not provide any additional damage bonuses, but apart from that, if it is fully charged it will give a bonus to critical chance.
Compatibility with other mods that change Aerondight's effects: Compatible with mods that only change Aerondight's stats. However, it is probably not compatible with mods that change Aerondight's unique buff abilities. If you want to prioritize the behavior of other mods, please refer to the DETAILS section on the Description page and remove files related to Aerondight from this mod.
thank you very much, asking in case you know, the lighting effect is activating on ANY sword i use as if its aerondight but only visiually, MIGHT be because of many other mods i have but maybe you know something about it?
There seems to be some incompatibility with Endure. However, as there are so many mods that help with durability now, I think I drop it in favor of your mod. Thank you.
Also, it seemed that with this mod, Meticulous Maintenance perk from Restored Content - Additional Perks which grants longer buffs time had been rendered useless. I can only hope someone make a mod to slightly change it into something useful.
The following parts should conflict with other mods that change the durability of equipment.

If you want to integrate that part, don't use my mod's code, just use the other mod's code, and it will probably work. (However, the "Preserved" effect will be lost.)

Question 1: How do you calculate the leveled-up stats? Is this calculation intrinsic to the game (and you are just applying it here) or have you come up with the formula yourself?
Question 2: How does your mod interact with different grades of Witcher gear? For example, will the superior Witcher gear set be better than the leveled-up enhanced gear set at the same level?
Comment: While the mod is safe to uninstall at any time, the modified stats are in fact stored in the save file. Disabling or uninstalling the mod will not remove its cumulative effect. This is just an observation.
The level of weapons and armor in The Witcher 3 is determined by two factors:
1: Part to be equipped (Weapons are divided into 2 types and armor is classified into 5 types.)
2: Weapon attack power or armor defense power.
This mod increases the level by adding attack power to weapons and defense power to armor. The calculation formula has not changed from vanilla.
Therefore, even if you compare Witcher equipment of different grades, if their levels are the same, their attack and defense power will be almost the same. However, higher-end Witcher equipment still has an advantage as it has great additional effects.
Do you think would be possible keep the animations from Complete Animations Redux? Would be nice to actually see Geralt improving his gear.
And i just want to throw an idea here, but would be nice if we had the option to require something to improve the gear, coin or item. I was actually looking for a mod that you could buy some item like the Repair Kit to level up your gear when i found this mod hehe
Anyway, great mod, definitely more immersive than auto level up gear
We may create a compatibility patch for Complete Animations Redux in the future.
If we were to require a cost to level up items, it would be difficult to maintain the current simple system. Also, properly implementing that functionality would require significant changes to the way the mod works, so I don't think this mod will attempt to do that.
