What's the purpose? To quote the original description:
It's simple mod based on a GREAT mod "Action Log" by Wolfmark. Action Log save and can show the last 500 messages in a popup window. "Dialog Log" - save and can show the last 500 dialogs. "Dialog Log" can be configured in the game menu. The position of the popup window is configurable in "Action Log" settings, other setting you can find in "Dialog Log" settings.
So if you miss or forgot what Geralt or NPC says before, you can now check in the Action Log.
1. You must install Action Log. The game cannot work without it.
2. Greatly recommend to install with The Witcher 3 Mod Manager, so all inputs and config are automatically installed. You can of course install manually if you know how to install inputs, a "key_example" file is available to custom set the input.
3. Here the tricky part: You must use Script Merger and merge all the script. You will get the following merged conflict in the spoiler:
How to uninstall? Delete the folder "modZDialogLog", and the config file "modDialogLog" in Bin folder. Then run Menu Filelist Updater, launch Script Merger and remerge again.
Compatibility and Conflict Reminder: Next-Gen compatible! This is a script mod that only contains the following script: scripts\game\gui\hud\hud.ws scripts\game\gui\hud\modules\hudModuleConsole.ws
As well as the Action Log local script: wmkActionLog.ws
So don't forget to run Script Merger and follow the instruction If you wish to use on the Classic 1.32, you can install the original mod.
