Were you ever annoyed by the fact *that* annoying book popup would slowly wither away just a second or two before Geralt finishes his line of dialogue? #MeToo. That is the reason why I "created" this mod. Why "created"? The reason for the quotation marks is the fact I simply increased the vanilla values. The overall simplicity of this mod makes me wonder whether something similar was already created.. Most likely not however and even then I doubt it offered 3 different versions:
Version A: 8 seconds. Version B: 10 seconds. Version C: 12 seconds.
The vanilla timer is set to expire in 6 seconds which was simply not enough in many scenarios.. The mod modifies only 1 script file: hudModuleJournalUpdate.ws which was not changed in the 'Next Gen' update at all hence it is also 'classic' compatible (1.31-1.32)
All in all the mod should auto merge with anything as it only modifies 1 line of code.
