This mod is Next Gen version of my previous AutoLoot Advanced Settings with Silent Popup mod.

The mod brings a lot of improvements:  -> adds new (or modifies some existing) settings
    -> adds new "Shortcuts" (Radius Looting/True AutoLoot distance change + Use Filters settings) and                 associated menu (more info in: "A) NEWS / CHANGES from default AutoLoot")
    -> adds "Silent PopupPreset and menu with options to disable popups for several item categories
    -> adds fully customizable popups (colors, position and more) 
    -> contains many bug fixes for bugs presented in AutoLoot

GENERAL INFO
- note: name of the mod: "AutoLoot Advanced Settings (Next Gen)" ...I call it just: AutoLoot +A.S.
- keybindings can be changed in the game (you can also check THIS image to see default controls)

A) NEWS / CHANGES from the original AutoLoot:

∎ added Silent Popup menu
- completely new menu => No Loot Popup and Sound for some categories (Herbs, IngredientsRead TextFoodJunk, Currency, Armors, Weapons)

>> Ingredients - adjustable with quality selection

>> Read Text: note - just Read! => Unread text still gets Popup
>> Food and Drink
>> Junk: - adjustable value (value: ">=" Show Popup / "1" Hide Everything) ...note - "Sea shell" (contains Black Pearl) still gets Popup
>> Currency - adjustable value (value: ">=" Show Popup / "1" Hide Everything)
>> Armors - adjustable with quality selection
>> Weapons - adjustable with quality selection


NOTES:
Junk range = 1-150 (default value 150 - recommended)
Currency range = 1-5000 (note: it is the value for each currency ...Crowns/Florens/Orens = not the sum)
Ingredients, Armors, Weapons = the highest possible quality to hide is relic (Ingredients shouldn't be green and green A+W should be visible)

∎ added fully customizable AutoLoot popups support
- you can select: popup color, position, background opacity (0% = no frame!), each item quality color and more...

∎ added PRESET: "Silent Popup" (corresponding to some Silent Popup options)
- it is like "Herbs" Preset with additional filters: Readable Filter - READ, Food and Drink Filter, Junk Filter, Currency Filter, Ingredient Filter
- of course you can activate/disable any additional filters you wish whatever Preset you load (like add "Corpse filter" etc).

NOTE: Silent Popup menu settings won't be affected if you change Preset (I made it independent on the current Preset).
...if you load e.g.: "Silent Popup" Preset you still have to enable desired Silent Popup options in the menu (if you didn't enable it earlier) to use it.

∎ added new Shortcuts with the menu
- adds shortcuts for Radius Looting/True AutoLoot distance + shortcut for Filters ("Use Filters" in the Setings menu)
- adds completely new "Shortcuts" menu where you can also choose between two ways how Shortcuts for distance change [num4-9] works:
a) +/- distance value (with chosen step) and current distance (INFO key)
b) sets chosen distance (preferred when "Alternative Press Function for Distance Keys..." option is enabled)
- all the new shortcuts have a secondary function when hold (I recommend to check new images/videos for the explanation)
  ...note: when you hold the key, the press action is performed first
- new shortcuts can be changed in the Key Bindings menu (Options -> Key Bindings)
 
NOTE: Shortcuts for True AutoLoot are available only when True AutoLoot is enabled!
   ...distance shortcuts [num4-9] can be also partially or completely disabled:
    => e.g.: If you don't use Radius Looting or True AutoLoot you can disable its shortcuts in new "Shortcuts" menu.

Default controls for new Shortcuts:
Radius Looting shortcuts:
[Num 7] - Radius Looting: Distance Step[-] / Distance (1)*
[Num 9] - Radius Looting: Distance Step[+] / Distance (3)*
[Num 8] - Radius Looting: Current Distance / Distance (2)*

True AutoLoot shortcuts:
[Num 4] - True AutoLoot: Distance Step[-] / Distance (1)*
[Num 6] - True AutoLoot: Distance Step[+] / Distance (3)*
[Num 5] - True AutoLoot: Current Distance / Distance (2)*

Filters shortcuts ("Use Filters" in the Settings menu):
[Num- ] - current Filters setting / hold the key = Filters Toggle

*preferred when "Alternative Press Function for Distance Keys..." option in "Shortcuts" menu is enabled

NOTE: A secondary function of distance keys [ num4-9 when hold ]:
   [Num 4] / [Num 7] hold - sets distance value = 1
   [Num 5] / [Num 8] hold - sets distance value = 15
   [Num 6] / [Num 9] hold - sets distance value = 30

∎ behaviour of loot key ("E")
- behaviour of loot key ("E") when True AutoLoot=Off is adjustable now in the mod's Settings menu

∎ added several item filters
- added/edited several missing filters (details in: "B) New FILTERS/changes + items notes")

∎ True AutoLoot Mode -> enable/disable Popup
- True AutoLoot enable/disable popup when game starts/loads is now fully customizable

∎ added "Exclude Trophies" option
- This option is enabled by the default (=the whole container with Trophy isn't looted ...like Vanilla's default)
- it is useful (=to turn it off) e.g. for "Random Encounters Reworked" mod

∎ added "Exclude Dropped Items" option
- This option prevents to autoloot items dropped by the player

∎ added "No Loot if Player doesn't Move" option
- It is option for True AutoLoot which can improve performance when the player is idle (exceptions: Horse/Boat/Swimming)
- It is meant to be used when True AutoLoot range is (near) max

∎ added option to Destroy white Weapons/Armors
- This is EXPERIMENTAL function because I am not sure if it can break some quests/gameplay with white quality Weapons/Armors!
     So keep in mind this when using the option!
- note: there are several exceptions (items not destroyed by this option):
  ...fixed items (Shirts = for crafting recipes ; starting gear = Witcher swords + Kaer Morhen armor ; items with "casual")
  ...optional items (just Crossbows for now)

∎ added many bug fixes
- added many bug fixes for bugs presented in AutoLoot (details in: "C) BUG FIXES")


B) New FILTERS/changes + items notes:

1) Ingredient Filter now contains ingredients ONLY (not Herbs or some Junk too)!
...(also added "Bottomless carafe" = alchemy ingredient but placed in "Other" tab)
2) Readable Filter is now divided into the "READ" and "UNREAD" filters.
3) NEW: Horse Equipment Filter - Blinders/Saddles/Saddlebags
       ...I didn't include Trophies (=protected container) here because you have to enable: "Force Quest Container Looting" to loot them.
  ...which isn't recommended -> you can break some quests when ON
4) NEW: Trophy Filter - Loot Trophies ...(of course it loots just non-quest trophies)
5) NEW: Mask Filter - Loot Masks
6) NEW: Tool Filter - Weapon/Armor repair kits
7) NEW: Other Filter - "Other" category in "Quest Items/Other" tab = not "Weapons/Armor" (like Torch)
   - note: Keys/Readable are excluded from this filter

8) NEW: Key Filter - note: keys can be labeled as "Other" or "Key" category in "Quest Items/Other" tab
9) NEW: Junk Filter - Loot Items Considered "Junk"

GENERAL NOTE: Since mod version 4.04.9 Filters are reworked (mainly just Quality/Value fitlers are now assigned straight to some item filters).

NOTE 1: There are some (=protected) containers in the game which can be looted only when "Force Quest Container Looting" setting is enabled.
So if you wonder why the loot inside isn't looted automatically, you can enable (for a second*) this setting to check.
*("Force Quest Container Looting" setting shouldn't be enabled all the time because you can break some quests when ON)


C) BUG FIXES:

  1) LVL 1 equipment + Repeated manuscripts FIX (by desfoi)  ...[container.ws]
- Fix for duplicates (diagram or alchemy formula from chests) when looted with AutoLoot

   2) Corvo Bianco - No automatic loot FIX  ...[AHDAutoLootFilters.ws]
- no looting your painting and armor/weapon displays at your Toussaint residence (Corvo Bianco)

  3) key_bindings FIX - added missing categories  ...[input.settings]
- origin AutoLoot Archive contains key_bindings.txt file
  ...there are controls for "AutoLoot Radius" + "True AutoLoot" actions assigned to certain categories (but some were still missing there):
[Boat]
[Diving]
[Combat_Replacer_Ciri]
[Exploration_Replacer_Ciri]
[Horse_Replacer_Ciri]
- if you will install this mod with TW3 Mod Manager = the fix will be applied automatically

  4) Horse Equipment FIX  ...[AHDAutoLootNotificationManager.ws]
- I also found out and fixed a bug (*with AutoLoot) = originally No Loot Sound for Horse Equipment (Blinders, Saddles, Saddlebags, Trophies**)
*no sound when Looting Horse Equipment is actually a behaviour of Vanilla game although you definitely want to hear it (especially with AutoLoot)

**NOTE: Trophies won't be looted with AutoLoot until you set: "Force Quest Container Looting" in the AutoLoot settings...
       ...which isn't recommended because you can break some quests when ON but need to be mentioned here

  5) Buckthorn FIX  ...[AHDAutoLootFilters.ws]
- Buckthorn is underwater herb and it is the only one which isn't looted from containers if you load e.g. "Herbs" Preset
- it is a minor bug because I think Buckthorn can't appear in containers (just when you drop any, it won't be looted)

NOTE: The reason is that Buckthorn is a Quest item ("The Beast of White Orchard").
            During this quest you are sent to loot Buckthorn (if you don't have some already) to one place...
...there Buckthorn isn't looted automatically (even with this fix) = it will be looted only when you turn on "Force Quest Container Looting"

  6) Restores functionality of "E" FIX  ...[container.ws]
- the fix solves a bug when TrueAutoLoot is disabled by the shortcut and you loot anything with E while keeping functionality of AutoLoot Radius
   ...(previously everything was looted automatically when you clicked on any container + your filters were set to loot everything)
- it is useful if you are using rather AutoLoot Radius than TrueAutoLoot but still want to loot some containers manually with E
- I was inspired by this feature included in AutoLoot Manually - a mod by IcemanSR (modded original AutoLoot)

- added possibility to choose "E" key behaviour (when TrueAutoLoot is disabled) from the mod's settings menu:
=> left switcher [Auto-Loot Chosen Items] = items chosen in filters will be autolooted (or everything if you set Off: "Use Filters" in Settings menu)
=> right switcher [Open Vanilla Loot Popup] = pressing "E" key will always open Vanilla Loot Popup window

  7) True Autoloot: activating from the mod menu FIX + several popups EDITS/FIXES  ...[AHDAutoLootFeatureManager.ws, commonIngameMenu.ws]
- originally if you disabled True Autoloot by the shortcut (def. Y key) and then enabled it again in the mod menu and returned to the game...
 ...True AutoLoot didn't work although switcher in the mod menu was set to enable! -> FIXED
- added missing True AutoLoot disable popup when True AutoLoot=ON by the shortcut and then set OFF in the menu
- added missing True Autoloot enable/disable popup when the mod (whole AutoLoot) was activated from the mod menu
- True AutoLoot enable/disable popup works only if the mod (whole AutoLoot) is enabled
- True AutoLoot enable/disable popup when game starts/loads is now fully customizable + added colors for "enable/disable" text

  8) Scavenger Hunt missions (Witcher schematics) FIX  ...[AHDAutoLootFilters.ws]
- I found another quite a big bug related to Scavenger Hunt missions if you don't loot diagrams with AutoLoot:
 ("Use Filters"=On in Settings menu and "Formula filter" is disabled)
- the problem was when AutoLoot range reached distance where Scavenger Hunt diagrams are located in containers
  ...then AutoLoot properly didn't loot the diagram but a quest for it was marked as "completed"
  (some diagrams could be missed if you didn't notice the bug!)
EDIT: this isn't needed in NG anymore (just in Old Gen)

  9) No looting during dialog/cutscene playing FIX  ...[container.ws]
- looting during dialog/cutscene playing (while True AutoLoot is enabled) shouldn't be possible, so I disabled it

  10) Empty loot window FIX  ...[AHDAutoLootNotificationManager.ws]
- added FIX for rare occasions where empty loot window (or its part) could appear when you loot something

  11) Exlude Scavenger Hunt diagrams (Witcher schematics) FIX - OPTIONAL (but RECOMMENDED!)  ...[AHDAutoLootFilters.ws]
- added new FIX = option in the mod's Global Filters menu: "Exclude Witcher Diagrams (Scavenger Hunt Missions)"
  ...without this option enabled - some Scavenger diagrams can be looted from another floors, etc (like Viper venomous silver sword in Oxenfurt)
  = it is better to loot all Scavenger diagrams manually (like all of them from: "School of the Manticore" or Viper Steel sword diagram).
- "Exclude Witcher Diagrams..." option now supports new items added by Viper Gear Expanded mod (if you have it installed)

  12) FIX (no loot with AutoLoot) for tutorial sword  ...[AHDAutoLootConfig.ws]
- I personally didn't experience the bug (missing tutorial sword when AutoLoot was enabled before training with Vesemir) but some people do
- note: tutorial sword (Witcher's Steel/Steel Sword) won't be autolooted now from Kaer Morhen

  13) FIX (no autoloot) for 3 outfits during "Imperial Audience" quest in Vizima  ...[AHDAutoLootFilters.ws]
- 3 outfits on racks won't be autolooted now

  14) FIX (no autoloot for some quest items  ...[AHDAutoLootFilters.ws]
- added the exception for some quest items

  15) FIX (no autoloot) for your weapons if you "lent" them to Trolls during "The Final Trial" main quest in Kaer Morhen ...[AHDAutoLootFilters.ws]
- in this quest you can temporarily drop all your weapons (they won't be autolooted now ...before Trolls attacked you after autolooting)

  16) FIX (no autoloot) for Ofieri crossbow in Oxenfurt and some other items (e.g. Tesham Mutna set) ...[AHDAutoLootFilters.ws]
- this crossbow is placed in the underground and it previously it could be autolooted just by exploring the city above
- now you will have to loot it manually during "Open Sesame!" (HoS) quest as it was intended to get it right there


D) INSTALLATION:
 D1) -> using The Witcher 3 Mod Manager (RECOMMENDED):

  1) install mod (the best with TW3 mod manager) and run Script Merger after.
  2) after the installation you have to copy/update dx11/dx12 files - there are 2 ways:
a) run "...\modAutoLootASNextGen\_[dx Update Tool].exe" file
b) or run Menu Filelist Updater tool and copy two txt files from "[dx files]" folder to "...\modAutoLootASNextGen\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc\"

  3) After the installation and starting a game for the first time with AutoLoot you should load a game save first to load default settings of the mod
...Anyway I STRONGLY recommend yet to do a manual reset through the in-game mod menu:
[MODS] - [AUTOLOOT +A.S.] - [SETTINGS] - and the last option here: Reset All Settings...
   .
   .
  4) Continue to this step ONLY if you experiencing some issues ...(like missing in-game menu and/or AutoLoot keybindings doesn't work etc)!

* _manual_install_(in-game_menu).bat - running this simple file adds in-game menu options (note dx files have to be updated to see mod's in-game menu!)
          - run it from the W3 directory after the mod installation!
* Ultimate Installation Tool - or better to run this complex tool -> download (Miscellaneous files) to solve different issues with the mod installation
      - before the usage you should watch VIDEO MANUAL first
NOTE: both files have to be run from the mod's folder (when the mod is installed!): " <The Witcher 3 dir> \Mods\modAutoLootASNextGen\"

  5a) OPTIONAL - if you use Complete Animations Redux (C.A.R.) for Next Gen mod - apply CAR compatibility patch:

- first download and install both mods (AAS + CAR):
a) this mod (AAS)
b) CAR for Next Gen mod (v2.07 currently) from HERE (if you haven't the mod yet)
c) download C.A.R. compatibility patch (Optional files) and install it like normal mod with TW3 Mod manager
d) then run Script Merger and for container.ws file exclude "modAutoLootASNextGen" + "modCompleteAnimationsRedux" when creating merge
  ...so it will look like e.g. like this pic (where is one additional mod editing container.ws file): 


NOTE:
 If there are just Autoloot+CAR files to merge, keep it unmerged like that and it should works!
  Just be sure that patch (mod0AutolootCA) has higher priority than Autoloot (modAutoLootASNextGen) and CAR (modCompleteAnimationsRedux) mods!

  5b) OPTIONAL - if you use Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition Redux (W3EER) for Next Gen mod - apply W3EER compatibility patch:

- the process will be similar to CAR patch installation above - first download and install both mods (AAS + W3EER):
a) this mod (AAS)
b) W3EER for Next Gen mod (v1.39f currently) from HERE (if you haven't the mod yet)
c) download W3EER compatibility patch (Optional files) and install it like normal mod with TW3 Mod manager
d) then run Script Merger and for the following files (container.ws ; LootPopup.ws ; r4Player.wsAHDAutoLootConfig.wsexclude:
    "modAutoLootASNextGen" + "modW3EE" when creating merges

NOTE: If there are just Autoloot+W3EER files to merge, keep it unmerged like that and it should works!
  Just be sure that patch (mod0AutolootW3EER) has higher priority than Autoloot (modAutoLootASNextGen) and W3EER (modW3EE) mods!


 D2) using Vortex Manager (NOT recommended):

You'll probably need to copy the AHDAutoLootConfig.xml to The Witcher 3\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc\ and then add it to the end of dx11filelist.txt and dx12filelist.txt in the same folder. In the end you'll probably need to run yet the merge tool in Vortex as apparently there were some conflicts and the mod order was screwed up.



E) TIPS:
  • I recommend to check a << NEW VIDEO >> where are all AutoLoot +A.S. functions explained!
  • Recommended mod to use (especially with Silent Popup option(s) enabled):
Quick Inventory - it is useful if you want to check latest loot (its Quick Inventory feature with time stamps)

  • if you wish to disable highlighting for herbs with witcher senses - you can try my new mod: No Highlight for Herbs
