Guys I'm from Ukraine and I'm alive, I left without my computer, only with the SSD & HDD, on a wheelchair with a catheter, was recovering in a Thai hospital, now a lot better, can walk without any devices, but not run, just arrived in UK, no pc, no work yet, no semi permanent home, in a hotel for now. So I don't know when I can continue the mods, had a bunch of projects almost done and more in construct, but as the war started, wasn't able to get in to any of that. I promised thou, in Twitter I think, that I won't die without once uploading it & I somehow survived lol This had insane amount of time put in to it and the complex versions were never uploded, wanted to flesh all out, as there were already some early stage versions, that weren't comparable with the later.
I will return one day, but now need to first somehow survive in the harsh reality of prices in UK and get a job, would be great if in my field, design, game design or fashion design, then I could afford a decent pc for the modeling work, and in spare time continue what I love and hopefully you my friends will adore it too.
p. s. I wonder how would my final version look with the new gen lightening of Witcher 3, bcz huge amount of time I was working around the lightening issues of the original, making compromises and tweaks here & there, to make the expressions etc more believable to Henry outside of static positions & the model outside of the game looked far superior to what the game rendered. Really hope that new version of the game fixed it for all areas, bcz it was random, best in interior of Novigrad, but still worse than even in Blender with fast, badic render preview. I couldn't play anything from the start of war and till now too, so can't check yet, but definetly will one day! 🙏🏻
For some odd reason, after a lot of testing with this mod, I think the grey head texture relates to beard growth mode option which is present with AMM menu installed elsewhere on nexus. With another head for Cavill (V2), I got the grey texture head once the mode was toggled either off or on then refreshed. The first time I installed V4 without AMM, it was grey head texture within the intro. Now it shows Cavill with stubble toggled on and without toggled off but cannot change to show any facial hair options. I thought I would post this in case someone wants to have at least a way of having the head texture they want. You just might have to turn facial hair stages completely off to do so and set priorities specifically, if using a unique body mesh. Hopes this helps someone, at least if there is ever a fix...
Has anyone updated the head textures through blender yet? Blender is down so I cannot try for myself. Also, is there any news on a V5. No updates on the social linked or anywhere to look for further info? Did the author of this great mod jump ship?
in blender , you click the head model first, and u can see a red sphere shaped icon in the right bottom section. should be the second last icon.
when u click that red round icon, the material name " material0' should pop up, change the material name and export it to the original place to replace the previous fbx file.
i think u should also change the xml file as well. in the xml file, jsut change all the material name with "material0" to name that u r told.
then it should be ok and u can pack it.
i wanna do it myself but unfortunately i cannot export my mod file somehow so i hope u can manage it.
