    Version 6.44 (I was merely the vague idea giver and consultant on this update- all credits to plasticmetal! All hail plasticmetal!)
    New Features and bugfixes.  Newly added are Discontent - a new expansion to Primal Needs, and proper Sleeping.

    You shouldn't need to use a Clearing Potion, but it is advised to clear the old well-rested buff first.  The 3 tiers of well rested have different icons.  If you see two at the same time you should either let them clear on their own or use a clearing potion to speed up the process.
    If you had the slow loading character skill menu bug, the source of it (or at least one major source if there's many) has been addressed.  A clearing potion is still needed if you currently have the bug but it shouldn't slowly develop anymore.

    One of the contained bin files changed (PN.xml).  Some cooked xmls have changed, and some w2scenes are now changed by the mod.  Scripts changed too obviously.  New localization strings exist for in game hud messages and in game options (Lazarus>Primal Needs>Discontent).

    Read the Article for a description of how the new features work.  Most numbers you see there are the defaults and can be changed in the in-game settings.

    Version 6.31
    - Added a new toggle in Lazarus MISC mod options "Dodge Fatigue instead of Cooldown", which will remove the hard restriction from dodge cooldown, but will make any evasive actions slower, lose I-frames and cost double the stamina if the dodge was initiated while "dodge cooldown" debuff was still active on HUD. This means you can still dodge while dodge cooldown is active, but that dodge will be VERY unreliable and not a viable way of locomotion in combat as using consecutive dodges without proper "dodge recovery" will deplete your stamina extremely quickly. New mechanics is set to initialize automatically upon update so if you prefer the "hard cooldown" you need to go to Lazarus MISC mod options and toggle it back to OFF
    - Applied plasticmetal's Aerondight effect fix (for effect breaking after Ciri sequences and requiring sword un-equip and re-equip)
    - Fixed an xml typo which prevented Recipe from Apple Juice to appear in shops
    - Removed Lore-Friendly glowing yellow ALT eyes for modular eyes from the Main Mod. This modification is available as a separate download.

    Version 6.3
    - Integrated custom version of woodbyte's Natural Torch Light and Smart Magic Lamp with mod options (adjustable light color for lamp) that allows said lamp to double as a convenient light source
    - Integrated menschfeind13's Swords and Meditation. This mod is disabled by default and has to be set-up in Lazarus mod options
    - Integrated custom version of enkains' Crossbow and Torch on Roach, where instead of Torch you can put Magic Lamp on Roach. Read the READ THIS!!!! file to learn how to use this mod, because this custom version has a little more intuitive way of putting and taking crossbow and lamps to and from Roach

    - Chip damage on Perfect Parries (non poise breaking!) reduced by 30% and Perfect Parries now block bleeding and poisoning statuses from applying on hit
    - Chip damage on Perfect Parries(poise breaking) reduced from 25% to 21% of the original attack damage (you do the math)
    - Using items in left hand (Torches, Shields, Lamps) will now properly block signs casting (LIKE IT SHOULD), however it is now possible to perform Heavy Attacks while holding "offhand" item
    - Geralt no longer puts away offhand items (Torches, Shields, Lamps) while climbing
    - It is now possible to select and use offhand items in Radial Menu while on horseback - so now you can take out and put away a torch while sitting on Roach (previously the slot was unavailable)
    - Applied plasticmetal's fix for Second Life mutation being interrupted and breaking the game from attempting to perform a special attack
    - Added Toggle for "Witcher senses on toggle". New option can be found in Lazarus mod options > Lazarus Misc
    - Removed the Horseback camera Autocenter(for controllers) option from Lazarus mod options > Lazarus Misc, but re-implemented this option to W3EE mod options > Addons > Immersive cam options > Horseback that will allow you to choose at which speed you want the camera to auto center on horse back or if it should at all
    - Removed the lore-friendly yellow eyes from Modular Eyes DLC and re-cooked that directly into Lazarus mod using a different wolven kit version (hopefully this will stop the load/blurry dialog loadings small portion of people experienced)

    Version 6.1

    - New Dynamic Poise System. WATCH GUIDE VIDEO AND/OR READ THE TUTORIAL.
    - Added hud indicators for dodge, knives and bomb cooldowns.
    - Integrated a custom version of Thoughtful Roach, which provides a much more immersive take on horse summoning.
    - Horse charge can now deal damage and knock back or even knock down enemies. (prototype version - please report bugs)
    - Removed the Kill Player For Lulz for Quen and water interaction. You can now complete the Toussaint quest without god mode.
    - Reworked Sundering Blows skill to be non-RNG based.
    - Reworked Heavy Armor Techniques and Bear Set effects to fit the new poise system.
    - Reworked Tiara and Full Moon potions to fit the new poise system.
    - Improved Toxicity Overdose handling and designed a new chain of actions on reaching 100% of Toxicity. Upon reaching 100% Tox, you MIGHT still be able to flee from the fight instead of just dying immediately.
    - Getting attacked while collapsing results in death. Collapsing face down into water results in drowning.
    - Character physically reacts to hits while puking or collapsing.
    - Re-added force "go to sleep" on 100% fatigue
    - Alchemy and cooking recipes that require Honey in a Jar will now properly return empty jar.
    - Incorporated Abandoned Sites Time Lapse mod.
    - Temporarily removed the built in E3 HUD. I might post it as an optional download/mod later.

    IMPORTANT: After initial update and using Clearing Potion, the poise and defense will display 0 in the character sheet. This is intended behavior that appears only after using Clearing Potion. The poise will kick in properly and permanently (until you use another Clearing Potion) when an enemy attempts to hit you with an attack for the first time or when you save game and load that saved game. So don't panic and just get into a fight.

    Regarding functionality of the custom version of Crossbow and Lamp on Roach mod:
    Put swords on Roach = Stand near roach and press "Draw/sheathe sword" button
    Take swords from Roach = Stand near roach or be ON Roach and press "Draw/sheathe sword" button

    Put Magic Lamp on Roach = Hold Magic Lamp in FIRST Qickslot and have it selected in Radial Menu. Press 'Use Item' button like you would like to use the item
    Take Magic Lamp from Roach = Have the FIRST Quickslot EMPTY and selected in Radial menu, stand near roach, press 'Use Item'

    Put Crossbow on Roach = Have Crossbow selected in Radial Menu, stand near roach and press 'Use Item' button like you would like to shoot the crossbow
    Take Crossbow from Roach = Have empty crossbow slot selected in Radial Menu, stand near roach of be ON roach and press 'Use Item' button like you would like to shoot the crossbow

    Put sword and items during meditation = Enable the mod and choose your preferred settings. Items will be layed down when you start meditation. (Other options available)


    I have also created a pool concerning DODGE COOLDOWN


    Will appreciate if you have an opinion on on that subject and can participate in the pool.

    Update 6.47
    If you have hardcore mode enabled and you need to use w3ee execs fivsave at some point, be sure to turn it off first.  The secondary option for hardcore mode to limit saving to settlements does not work independent of the first hardcore setting.  If you have the second on be sure to have the first on as well.  Hunger now decreases vitality regeneration from all sources.  Hunger and Thirst no longer provide a stat boost at low levels, and they they now function in stages instead of gradients.  The effects are as follows:
    Thirst:
    0-19% No effect
    20-39% Stamina regen - 5%, Bleeding resistance + 5%
    40-59% Stamina regen -15%, Bleeding resistance + 10%
    60-79% Stamina regen - 35%, Bleeding resistance + 15%
    80-100% Stamina regen - 55%, Bleeding resistance + 20%
    Hunger
    0-19% No effect
    20-39% Vitality regen - 10%
    40-59% Vitality regen - 25%, attack power -5 %
    60-79% Vitality regen - 55%, attack power -10 %
    80-100% Vitality regen - 85%, attack power -15 % 
    The max values for vit and stamina regen nerfs are found in the options.  
    Depending on when loot tables were rolled, you may continue to see Bottles in chests.  To quickly trade in existing Bottles, use console command purgebottles .  
    PNHUD has revamped settings: Always Off, Only Show Needs above threshold, Show all needs if one is above threshold, Always On.  Same settings apply to witcher senses.  In the event of a discrepancy, the On setting always wins.  There is a known bug if you enable every PN Need where the last entry won't show in the hud (usually pee/poop if you actually use that).
    Well-Fed and Well-Hydrated do not fully erase when above 20% for the relevant need, but the effect is disabled and the hud icon is hidden.  If you eat many foods to get below the 20% threshold, the game already remembers the effects of the highest tier food and keeps that as the active buff.

    Just to confirm, this is TWEE with added features?

    I want to play TWEE but I need primal needs and cannot get them to work together. So is this Mod basically that plus extras?

    Hi I'm currently playing with W3EE Redux and I just wondered what the difference with that and Lazarus Project is, apart from the few extra mods such as thoughtful roach, glowing eyes, and primal needs etc being included with Lazarus? Thanks in advance.

      I would stick with W3EE Redux given that is being updated and have a lot of bugs fixed, the Lazarus mod seems to be abandoned, since it hasnt been updated in more than a year now. And is pretty much the same mod with a more player friendly toxicity overhaul, better in my opinion.

      @Dragwars, I've had a hell of a time getting Redux to work.
      I found a youtube video to be able to install Redux and although there are hundreds of conflicts the video stated to not merge Redux and W3EE.

      I don't and it runs fine. However W3ee and Redux precludes any other mod. With Redux installed I cna't get any other mod to work at all.

      Could you teahc me how to merge redux and W3EE or, do I always choose to solve conflicts with one over the other, I am at a loss.

      Your're not supposed to merge w3ee and redux. Give redux a higher priority and let it overwrite W3EE. There are install instructions on the Redux main page.

    How do you toggle the AMM compatibility, and/or what version of it?
    Lastly, there are only W3EE from the files of this very mod that is compatible and Lazarus. There are 373 different files in conflict.I've redone the installation now 4 times and end up with the same number.

    A-If Lazarus is higher priority and since the installation instructions didn't mention it, I don't have to merge anything?
    B-If I do have to merge anything...this is wildly outside of my abilities.

      I never had the chance to donate in the last years, but now I think I can donate something althoug it would be simbolical, and without doubt I would do it for you Charan, and the others who worked on Lazarus.

      Visiting the page every few weeks hoping for news. I will never replay the game again unless Lazarus get an update, it's just not the same game without it.

      i agree with KeyBerci, Lazarus provide the best experience on Witcher 3. Its simple, i prefer to play on Classic with Lazarus than on next gen without it.

      I'm really looking forward to updating your mod on Next Gen.  I still play Old Gen.  Lazarus gives the best Witcher 3 experience in my opinion.

    Understood. Inside the mod itself there are settings that reduce the number of saves :)

    Hi all. After installing the bin - config - r4game - user_config_matrix - pc - PN file, the game stopped saving.
    How can this be fixed? Game version 1.32
    Through trial and error, I came to the conclusion that if the very last line is removed from this file, the game will be saved, but some mod settings will disappear inside the game itself.
    I really like this mod and I will be very grateful if someone helps me solve the problem
  11. I was able to use Left Click to Shoot with throwing knives in W3EE but for some reason it's not working with Lazarus. Works just fine with bombs, but I get the insufficient stamina sound effect when trying to use throwing knives. I'm almost certain the playerinput.ws is the issue; EE and Lazarus have very different throwing knife implementations in this script and I think it's throwing off LCTS ability to recognize throwing knife IDs as a legitimate quick access item. If anyone knows the problem or how to fix it I would appreciate any assistance that can be provided.
