What's the purpose?

With this mod, Geralt will almost look the same from the beginning to end, not matter the swords, armour, boots, pants or gloves you equip as well as their stats and their icon.
This mod includes the starting equipment (+ worn glove), their upgraded counterpart, and imported equipment from Witcher 1. It contains only the XML files so you are free to mix different appearance or to edit them.

Installation
Fast installation
1. Download the main file "Swap Armour and Gear" and/or "Swap Steel and Silver Swords".
2. Extract the file and choose one of "Swap Gear" and "Swap Swords" folder. You may mix them up if you desire. DON'T INSTALL ALL OF THEM!!
3. Then put them together in "items" folder.
4. Copy/past "items" folder in Witcher 2 Assassin of Kings\CDCooked folder. [It won't work if doesn't name "items"]

Safer installation
1. Download the main file "Swap Armour and Gear" and/or "Swap Steel and Silver Swords".
2. Extract the file and choose one of "Swap Gear" and "Swap Swords" folder. You may mix them up if you desire.
3. Then put them together in "items" folder.
4. Backup the original Pack0.dzip in your game's directory Witcher 2 Assassin of Kings\CDCooked folder.
5. Use Red Gibbed Tool to unpack the Pack0.dzip
6. Then overwrite the unpacked Pack0 with the mod (or edit if you know how to do)
7. Use Red Gibbed Tool to pack the modded Pack0 folder.
8. Copy/past the newly Pack0.dzip to your game's directory Witcher 2 Assassin of Kings\CDCooked folder.

How to uninstall?
Copy/past the backup Pack0.dzip
If you didn't backup (which you SHOULD have done), remove the modded file and ask Steam/GOG to verify the file. Then reinstall some mod you want to keep.


Compatibility and Conflict
This mod conflict only if it changes items XML files from Pack0. No conflict to texture mod so you are free to use them :)
Here is the list of all changed files. You can edit them with Wordpad or Notepad++


Recommended Mod
Below are mods I recommended with mine:
- Alternative Scabbard Swords. Change the texture of the unique scabbard to better one.
- Project Mersey 2. Over 200 fixes and restoration, included +10 restored swords and make DLC items lootable instead.
