Features
  • Azeroth 9.0 Shadowlands
  • Azeroth 4.3 Cataclysm
  • Azeroth 1.12.1 Classic
  • Burial chambers, troll caves, sunken crypts, goblin villages/towers and wooden houses have been added at specific places to make it even more recognizable. Some still spawn randomly.
  • Some Maps with Portals to all starting zones found in WoW.
  • Warsong Gulch has been added between Barrens and Ashenvale
  • Biomemap and Boss/Trader map in misc files


VoW Azeroth Shadowlands




  • Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, Quel'Thalas attached to Eastern Kingdoms, Azuremyth Isle, Northrend, Kezan and Lost Isle, Tol Barad, Wandering Isle, Pandaria,  Broken Isles, Kul Tiras, Zandalar and the Maelstrom
  • Timeless Isle as starting point and portal hub to all starting zones found in WoW.
  • Each starting zone comes with multiple locations to summon the first boss.
  • Each starting zone has its own progression path, but overlapping with other races at some point.
  • Portals for some ships (Booty Bay - Ratchet, Menethil - Theramore) and zeppelin ( Undercity - Orgrimmar) and deepruntram (Stormwind-Kharanos).
  • Azeroths landmass has been reduced by 20% to make all continents fit, now it feels nicer to walk through while not loosing much of its original landscape.


VoW Azeroth Cataclysm



  • Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, Quel'Thalas attached to Eastern Kingdoms, Azuremyth Isle, Northrend, Kezan, Lost Isle, Tol Barad and Maelstrom.
  • Isle of Quel'Danas as starting point and portal hub to all starting zones found in WoW.
  • Each starting zone comes with multiple locations to summon the first boss.
  • Each starting zone has its own progression path, but overlapping with other races at some point.
  • Normal scale WoW as of 4.3 Cataclysm, should feel more like the original landmass found in WoW.

VoW Azeroth Cataclysm


  • Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor
  • More accurate biomes
  • Elwynn Forest as starting point, no portal hub
  • Normal scale WoW as of 1.12.1 Classic, should feel more like the original landmass found in WoW.


Installation

To install this you should:
  • Backup your worlds and characters
  • Ensure you have the latest version of Better Continents installed (including its dependencies)
  • Download this world save
  • Unzip it into your worlds directory, which is located at C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\worlds
  • Run the game and you should see VoWAzeroth listed in the worlds list, so just load it like normal and play!


Server Installation


  • Backup your worlds and characters
  • Ensure you have the latest version of Better Continents installed (including its dependencies).
  • Download this world save.
  • Unzip it anywhere you want.
  • Stop your server.
  • Make sure you have "enabled mods" on your server. How you do this will depend on your server provider. Their documentation should explain it.
  • If you have full FTP access then you might need to upload BepInEx and configure it to be used by the server (see BepInEx Valheim documentation).
  • Upload the world files to your server. This is probably be by FTP, but dependson your server provider. They should clearly indicate where to upload worlds to, if they are half way decent.
  • Modify your server to point at this world instead. How this is done again isdependent on the server provider, but an example is here. Enter VoWAzeroth as the world name or save name, or however it is referred to by your provider.
  • Start your server again, it should launch VoWAzeroth.
  • All clients MUST have the same version of Better Continents as the server,that is the only requirement. None of the Better Continents config settings have any affect on already created worlds, so don't worry about them. On connection to the server the world settings are sent to the client, and the version is verified (since 0.4.3). You can still connect to servers that don't use the mod at all, or that are running a world that doesn't use it, the version check is skipped entirely in these cases.

  • Cosmic Map, including Outland, Draenor, Argus and Shadowlands
  • Different biomaps for optional download (more accurate to the game)
  • Add even more burial chambers, sunken crypts, goblin villages and houses to specific places to make it feel more WoW like
  • Add Forestmap
  • Actually learn how to use Blender and not destroy the whole area while trying to fix it
  • Maybe pre build bridges and various little things to make the world more believable, would be added as optional download
