me too, i have choose Needler damage x3 and critical x2 and durability x13 and stealthcrit x2 and the game crushing, but when i have started a new game, it worked, maybe because i didnt obtained the weapon yet
Hey! I wanted to say that this is a great mod! I enjoy how you've become the face of the TOW modding community, as small as it is.
By the way, I was wondering if you could explain to me how to change a weapon's model, stats, and/or features? I've wanted to change the guns Phin's Phorce and Equilibrium from an light assault rifle to an Assault Rifle Ultra, change their names and/or descriptions, change their companies to UDL, and maybe alter some of the stats.
Also, if it is not too much, could you also explain the process to change the model, stats, and/or features or armor? I'd like to also change some stats for the Nightfall Squad Armor.
I don't get it. How install mod? E:\Games\GOG Galaxy\Games\The Outer Worlds\Indiana\Content\Paks\mods I put zz_scarlightammo.pak in Paks folder, mods (new create folder) and mod (new create folder). Didin't work. What I do wrong?
Try calling your mods folder ~Mods. include the ~ so the path would be E:\Games\GOG Galaxy\Games\The Outer Worlds\Indiana\Content\Paks\~mods
If it still seems to not work, try a different mod like one that changes the Needler or Shrink gun. I suggest this because sometimes the change to ammo type doesn't work. If you scroll through the comments here, you'll see others have trouble with it. Spawning a new assault rifle using a console command will result in it using light ammo but the game doesn't always apply the change to weapons you already have. I don't know why it's like that.
Just like the last post, not sure if you're still maintaining this mod, but an update for The Needler changes to Spacer's Choice Edition would be greatly appreciated. Too stupid to figure out how to change it on my own.
I'm not sure if you're still actively maintaining this mod, but I thought I should let you know I figured out how to adjust the Inventory UI for the Light Assault Rifle to indicate that it uses Light Ammo and repacked the mod with this change.
It seems to have retroactively changed all Light Assault Rifles to highlight Light Ammo, although it still didn't change the ammo type any given one actually uses, so while any new iterations of Light Assault Rifles will use Light Ammo, any that already existed (such as one that I have kept safe in my ship) will continue to use Heavy Ammo even with the Inventory UI indicating that they are now using Light Ammo.
Either way, I'd be happy to send you the repacked mod if you're interested.
Could the Needler get another buff? I'd love it if it had triple the vanilla damage and maybe a bigger buff for stealth hits (or just crits if that's not a separate value) as it looks like the perfect stealth kill weapon and it's a shame they made it so useless in the final game and even put it in the same DLC as the best gatling I've ever seen
Put up a needler with triple damage, double critical chance, critical multiplier, and stealth crit mult, and x13 durability - you didn't ask for durability increase but it seems durability is related to damage so if you want it destroyed super fast, I can put it less. I increased it on the other ones too, I just did this one a bit more to go with the damage increase.
I'm lazily not testing this one lol so let me know if it doesn't work or something. Have fun.
I know it's quite late to ask it since there haven't been any updates for 10 months but instead of the assassin perk applying to all weapons it would be cool if you made it so that it applies to weapons with >5m range instead of 2.5m which only allows science weapons to have it.
Having assassin perk for all weapons kinda makes the silenced weapon mod useless.

I attempted to install the Assassin buff to my game, however a crash to desktop occurs on startup with the mod installed.
