About this mod

More than 30 new items and 50 new recipes for the Bioreactor. Extract fats from plants or animals, produce Ethanol, Biodiesel, Hydrazine and more. Use your lab. equipment and research 3 new modified breed of a fishes for the Alien Containment. Full content in the description.

Overview:
New items and recipes intended to create, better fuels for your Bio Reactor in order to provide more choice on how to get energy for your base. Also many unutilized in-game items now have important role in creating, inventing new types of Bio Fuels. In order to progress you need to unlock your crafting tree by exploring the flora and fauna, considering new points of interest on the map and if you need a hint you could allways take a look in the Blueprints section provided bellow. Research the genetic code of creatures and create new ones in favor of satisfying your energy and food needs (see the screenshots). 

Installation:
(CustomCraft Version)
  • You must have Tobey's BepInEx Pack for Subnautica downloaded and installed to run any mod.
  • You must have SMLHelper 2.15.0.1 (Living Large Update).
    downloaded and extracted into your \plugins folder (Download the archive (zip file), open up the archive with WinRar or 7zip, Drag-and-drop the "Modding Helper" folder into your \plugins folder).
    Should be \Steam\steamapps\common\Subnautica\BepInEx\plugins\Modding Helper\
  • You must have Custom Craft 2(Bepinex) downloaded and extracted into your \plugins folder.
    Should be \Steam\steamapps\common\Subnautica\BepInEx\plugins\CustomCraft2SML\
  • Once the above are installed, you can download the BioreactorFuels.zip file and extract the CustomCraft2SML folder into plugins\CustomCraft2SML\.
    Should be \Steam\steamapps\common\Subnautica\BepInEx\plugins\CustomCraft2SML\
  • Run the game.
  • You are ready to play.

  • Run the game.
  • You are ready to play.
***Please don't forget that most of the recipes are locked behind a tech tree, i.e. you need to discover and explore.

Recommended companion mods:
  • Radial Tabs is Highly Recommended mod (that alters the crafting tree layout into circles) as more and more mods continue expanding the crafting trees far beyond what the UWE devs ever intended. It's actually quite nice and helps better fit all these nodes on screen.
  • EasyCraft Automatically crafts ingredients for a blueprint and takes materials from the neighboring storage.
  • Defabricator Recycle any item back into its components.

Cofiguration:
Because this is built using CustomCraft2, the entire crafting tree and every component of the recipes are now all part of a multiple, user-editable text files. It is a 100% user configurable and you could specify:
  • your own bioreactor energy values by setting the "Energy:" value in the included BioReactorFuels_CustomBioFuels.txt file.
  • your own item dimension values by setting the "Width:" and "Height:" values in the included BioReactorFuels_CustomSize.txt file.
  • your own recipe Ingredients by setting the "Ingredients:" value in the included BioReactorFuels_ AliasRecipes.txt  and BioReactorFuels_CustomFoods.txt files.
  • other similar things...

Compatibility:
More Bioreactor Fuels does not change any of the original Subnautica items and recipes. The main goal is only to add more options to the table without changing the original content. For those very reasons, should be compatible with any other CustomCraft2 compatible mod and all the rest CustomCraft2 plugins
