Settings
  • Maximum range.
  • Minimum scale.
  • Distant blip alpha.


Visibility
  • Text content visibility: "Default", "Hide name", "Hide distance", "Hide count", "Hide all"
  • Limit text visibility by distance: When enabled, blip text will only appear when closer than the distance specified below.
  • Text visibility distance.
  • Auto-hide nearby blips: Automatically hide blips within a configurable distance (does not apply when range-based toggle is enabled).
  • Auto-hide distance: Blips within this distance will be automatically hidden when auto-hide is enabled.
  • Hide blips inside habitats.
  • Hide blips inside Cyclops.


Toggle controls
  • Toggle blips hotkey.
  • Show blip toggle message.
  • Range-based toggle: When enabled, the hotkey will only toggle blips within the range specified below.
  • Toggle range: Blips within this range will be toggled when using the hotkey with range-based toggle enabled.


Blip limits
  • Limit visible blips: When enabled, only the specified number of blips will be visible.
  • Maximum visible blips: Only this many blips will be shown at once.


Grouping
  • Group nearby resources: Group resources of the same type that are very close together.
  • Grouping distance: Resources within this distance of each other will be grouped.
  • Break groups when nearby: Show individual resources instead of groups when you get close to them.
  • Group breaking distance: Groups will break into individual resources when you're closer than this distance.


Edge blips
  • Show off-screen blips at edge: Enable to use custom colors for scanner blips.
  • Edge margin: Margin from screen edge for displaying edge blips (in pixels).
  • Use circular edge blips: Display off-screen blips in a circle around the screen center instead of at the edges.
  • Circle radius.
  • Smoothing time: Controls how smoothly edge blips move when changing position. Lower values = faster response, higher values = smoother movement.


Fragments
  • Hide known fragment blips.
  • Specific fragment names: When enabled, fragments will show their specific type (e.g. 'Seamoth Fragment' instead of just 'Fragment')."
  • Append '(known)': When enabled, fragments for blueprints you already know will be marked with '(known)'.


Blip color
  • Use custom blip color: Enable to use custom colors for scanner blips.
  • Blip color.


Text color
  • Use custom text color: Enable to use a different color for text than for blips.
  • Text color.



Requirements and Installation

Install with a mod manager or by dragging the extracted folder to the game's root folder.


FAQ
Can I use this with Better Scanner Blips (Purple Edition) or Dynamic Scanner Blips?
No, having either mod loaded will make Better Scanner Blips Remake throw a log error and prevent its features from working.
