I'm not sure if you want to put this in your description, but I recently uninstalled Starfield including removing all files in the locations Documents\My Games\Starfield and %localappdata%\Starfield. When I went to reinstall your mod by dropping the contents into the Starfield\Data\interface folder, it wasn't working for some reason. I even went through the process of using your instructions to extract the "Starfield - Interface.ba2" file and updating the swf files manually.
The fix, I found, was recreating the StarfieldCustom.ini file located in Documents\My Games\Starfield. My previous installation had it. I seemed to have removed it completely while I was reinstalling my game. I guess I created this previously to install some other mods at one point in time. In the StarfieldCustom.ini I needed the following text:
These commands allow Starfield to load up loose files outside of bsa files, like your mod when placed directly into the game's data folder. Just thought it would be good to know in case anybody else comes across your mod and encounters the same thing I experienced.
Yeah that's a good point. It was the norm to have loose file loading enabled when I first made this mod so I didn't have that in the description, but as more people will be using mods without loose files now I should probably add it. Thanks.
This mod is handy and I also really appreciate your quick explanation of what you changed and how to do it! Time to experiment with some swf files by myself...
I liked you and your attitude. You share knowledge and are humble in helping. Thank you for updating the MOD.
Does this one have the glitches caused by the temples? I used another MOD that had a bug, and the modder fixed it but didn’t admit it, making me look like a liar, and the bug was marked as “not a bug.” Even though I had video and screenshots of the bug. Anyway.
The bug that MOD had was in the mission "Into the Unknown," where I needed to find the first temple, and the scanner was supposed to show the glitches (but it didn’t).
I noticed that although the circle is removed, the scanner's effect area is still limited to the original circle, and not fullscreen, making the "no circle" effect purely cosmetic. Could you update it to make the effect fullscreen?
The highlight radius is actually a game setting, see the article I posted Changing the scanner highlight radius if you want to make it larger or full screen.
To answer your other question, yes the temple-related glitches show as in the picture included in the gallery.
It's whatever the scanner is by default, I haven't changed it. I believe Bethesda themselves made the scanner and some other hud elements 60 fps in one of the updates. I don't see any jerkiness in the scanner icons when panning at 60 fps.
OK, so I guess it wasn't 60 fps before and it wasn't one of the ones Bethesda changed themselves. But I've now added a 60 fps version if that's any use to you.
Yeah, the fullscreen scan was the feature I miss the most. Luckily, there is a post that shows you how to change the ini file to make it fullscreen or whatever size you want the scanner overlay to be. Very nice.

Once that was in place, your mod loaded up with no problems. There's also an article here regarding this:

Otherwise great mod and great updating
