Ok, so it is actually this mod that makes the ship icon appear as a "?" instead of the ship icon.
I found out by accident (I disabled the mod by accident). If you use it, just disable it in MO2 (it's just a swf file) and you will see the ship icon return. No harm to use / remove during gameplay, it' a choice. Which would you rather have? Lol.
I am a bit confused. 13 different files? I have a very slow comp, old GF card, extremely low FPS and 1920*1080 screen, which file should I really use?
there are also 2 other cool mods, one that makes it possible to scan longer and one that scans more wide. Are any of those features activated in this mod? I do not see in any screenshots that any side objects gets included in the scans, only objects in the center?

This looks great, but I wonder if we could have the UW version with a "half-circle" of the scanner at the bottom. Feels weird that we are activating a scanner and there isn't any UI element at the center, especially on UW

The mod author of that one says the following: If you use other mod, which changes monoclemenu.swf and monoclemenu_lrg.swf files, then ask mod author to make unrestricted fast travel version. It's quite simple, just one line: MonocleMenu:onPickDataUpdate, line 629 (vanilla) change to "this.CanFastTravel = param1.data.bIsDiscovered || !param1.data.bIsScannable;"

No need in optional monoclemenu*.swf files anymore. Fast travel from scanner mode is supported out of the box. Compatible with any scanner mod.
Has anyone had it where the scanner is hitting objects somehow and sending them flying, almost as if the scanner is deploying some kind of collision and is hitting objects.
