Great icons! Although when using the scanner the Frontier's icon is showing a question mark icon. Every other icon looks correct and nothing appears to be overwriting. Anyone else having this issue?
Usually, question mark appears just before you discover some places. But since this is your starter ship, it should show the icon from mod. Like the image below. Just opened game to check.
Perhaps using some other interface mods that touching world icons? I can see you're using StarUI Hud, which it removes color from minimap icons. Using it myself anyways, but not using it's color configurator, since it messing up with whole hud.

Edit: Would love to make it compatible with your other mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/10185?tab=description) again. As soon as I install it I get the question marks again. Without it ship and vehicle icon works fine.
I don't see or know how i can change map colors. From the pics in your gallery i see different colors is optional. Red/Black, Green/Black and Orange Black for planet icons.
When using vortex to load your UI, their is no options to pick color scheme. On new atlantis for example. The district icons like Mast, Residential, etc are almost grayed out, I can barely see them
Thank you for this. Your icons are much nicer. However I haven't been able to use the Map Markers optional download with it, since it makes all the icons question marks. I tried loading it last and same result. Again the Main mod without it works fine.
This is strange. 400 downloads at the said optional file, and just two people with exact same issue? Just re-installed it 3 times to check all over, fine at my side. Opened files at de-compiler, fine as well, all icons showing up normal. Did you guys checked if you're using another hud mod(s) that using same files? Only issue atm, is just with Trackers Alliance icon, which indeed using a Question Mark, since Bethesda again shares added interface files in random places,and can't find it. Is at description and at sticky here, plus, the mod will clash with any other related mods using 3 same files, "markers.swf/fgx/lrg". Mod is for game version 1.11.36+ only by the way. Anything lower than that, it will give such issues, since Bethesda changed icon ID's, with the addition of new Scanner icons.
Current version is 8 & 9, which contains 4 editions to choose from.
My apologies, but I'm a bit confused by this. Is this old information? The download available is v13 and I don't see anywhere in the FOMOD installer to change an edition. Am I doing something wrong? I was hoping I could choose the icons with the white background from your images (looks to be the ones from your original release) as they look the best to me. The ones without the background are too hard for me to see in game.
Hey there. My bad. Current one is v13. Forgot to update desc page. Anything under 12, are old versions, from months ago. Don't use it, since isn't contain the new scanner icons from latest game updates. Sorry for any confusion.
Oh, no worries. I started to realize that I was looking at older versions thinking they were options I could choose. It's a great mod, but I unfortunately will probably pass on it for now due to the lack of backgrounds on the icons. I just can't see them well enough. If you happen to update this mod with a version that uses the original white diamond backgrounds with the simple colored icons, I'd give it another try.
I've a small issue when your MOD is activated: When moving the local (ground) map by mouse, the coursor which is showing my position is not moving with the map. It seems to me that it is always centered to the middle of the screen instead fixed to my location. When deactivating your mod, everything is working fine.
I'm using the latest version of Starfield (1.12.30) and your version XIII but it is the same when using XI or XII
Hey mate, many thanks for letting me know. With 1.11.36 - 1.12.30, Bethesda changed something in the files with the addition of new Icons, which somehow didn't noticed it. Uploaded fixed version just few seconds ago. Thanks again.

Think I've found another issue MindDoser. I'm playing "survival" with food and drink effects and when I go to the pause menu, the icons for dehydration and malnourished are showing as the purple med-effect triangle. When I disable the mod, the icons disappear completely, so I assume this isn't safe to disable mid playthrough?
Oh damn..and i tho it was something from my end and checked files like 10 times. I use also Undelayed Menus, but didn't think to check if another mod scuffed player icon. Thanks a bunch SirFarq (Regarding if it safe to disable/uninstall any time, yes it is, since it's just icons)
Latest version does not seem to work with my mod set on v1.11.36. Started a new playthrough .. can not see the Icons on Kreet (they seem mostly transparent.) I'll try again after a complete remove and reinstall. No, the icons are transparent now in game for me. I can see PART of the icon (a small colored part taht seems secondary, but the primary box is missing).
What you mean by "Primary Box"? Background of the Icons? All the Icons are like that, without backgrounds. Unless you mean something else? In any case, i just uploaded a new version which contains old Circular map icons, if it's that what you want.
Hope you comeback. and revamp ever single package, organize all. Love your icons! specially the OrangeBlack version of icons. but was hard to find each one through photos and choos the exact package with those icons! hugs and wish you the best!
