BTW Love the new location for the safe! As a matter of fact, after noticing that the safe is standing slightly crooked from the wall and also clips into it my OCD insisted I relay this message to you, quote "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH DOES NOT COMPUTE" ... end quote. Can't remember the last time he was this excited. Come to think of it I think I passed out :D.
it would be more interesting to have a connection with the box in the dream house on Nesoi, as well as the ability to set up an outpost around this house..

Nah you just wanted an excuse to use the vault for storage :-) Anyway when you move it to the basement, make sure it is placed nicely, allinged to the wall.
I downloaded this using vortex, it appears to be not working for me. Do I need to manually enter a command within a game or do I need change a setting somewhere in the game folder, please?
I'm assuming this mod doesn't also link the safe at constellation and outpost building? Just tried to upgrade my outpost after transferring all my resources to the safe and sadly couldn't build anything :(
There are a couple of ideas I have, 1: if you have the groovy house; dedicating a room to workshopping, same with an outpost, I figure using the mod that adds bottemless containers, getting their ref along with the refs of any 'shop furniture you put down and editing your bat file might work, i'll experiment and come back with results.
Whelp : it worked, first i used the bottomless storage esp thats on here, and made a stash in the house, got its ref and changed the bat to reference it, then i place some benches, and took their refs, and swapped them out in the bat, now i can research and build from the stash in the dream home. and its all due to your awesome bat! thanks
Also works with placed storage crate that had it's carryweight value *changed.
* Open Console (`¬) Tilde key or ('@) Click on the storage crate in question. Make sure it has the "CONT" flag, it should look similar to this ( CONT " (FF02308C) PP ) Set the carryweight to whatever you would like, I went with 999999 type 'setav carryweight 999999', close the console and add your crafting mats. You now have as to close to infinite storage as you need.*
Now if we could find a way to link this with the Dream Home decorating mechanic we'd be set for interior decoration as well. It will also work with any of the other bought homes/apartments. Place a crate and workbenches, get the codes, change the bat file to correspond and then run it. It's a clunky fix but until Bethesda allow interior linked storage/crafting/decoration it's the only solution available.
Hey, It also worked for me. I did as you said, and a little bit of messing around. I managed to link both the craft stations in Lodge and In the Dream house to pull rss from my storage in the dream house. Is there a way to link so that it pulls from two storage crates one from house and one from the lodge?
see what i used above in the dream home, you have to change the bat file to reflect the id's of the stash and the benches, but it worked for me in dreamhome
A mod that links the storage to the ship crafting stations would be amazing. I think a LOT of people (including myself) are looking for something like that, does one exist?
Open console while on ship, looking at the benches, click them, the ID will appear. That's how I incresed capacity the Transfer Container from outpost.

There are special cases like ship workbenches that are always connected to the cago hold.
