About this mod
A new NPC based on Mumps, the farmer character created and played by DangerouslyFunny on YouTube. This mod is a WIP. Keep in mind this mod is in no way officially affiliated, used by, made by, or tied to DF at all. Fan-made!

Mumps is a young adult male living in Stardew Valley. A somewhat retired farmer in his own right, he knows far too much about the people, the land, and even what you're doing. He's seemingly bitter and rude, refers to many in the town as an idiot, and shows a general distaste for anything not monetarily valuable. Even dating seems to be a reluctant thing. Can you find the warm, mushy center of his heart?
Mumps is based on the character created and played by DangerouslyFunny, and based on the original Mumps Mod which used to just replace Sebastian. I do plan to add on to him beyond the somewhat superficial information technically available, so beyond what exists in the 2.0.4 update, my own "headcanons" will be present.

If you do decide to download this, feel free! Currently, this is the second iteration of tests and he is still missing heart events. The sprites have been more or less finished, but I am working on some edits to make them a bit less - Sebastian-like. The portraits are finally much more reflective of the finale, though more will be added. Please, if you find any bugs or issues you can report them in the bug or the comments sections and I usually respond within the day. Include your latest log from here so I can check things out! I take suggestions and possible requests as well.
Install the latest version of SMAPI, Extra Map Layers, Mail Framework and Content Patcher.
Please download Extra Map Layers for Android if on android!
Download this mod and unzip it into Stardew Valley/Mods.
Run the game using SMAPI.
Currently compatible with Stardew Valley Expanded.
Would likely work with almost any other mod, but may run into issues with multiple mods adding NPCs.
* Will be running tests with SVE, RSV, and Always Raining since I usually play with those.
Currently working on android compatibility.
- Heart + more non-heart events!
- At least one heart event for each heart milestone. I hope to make more but I haven't decided yet.
- Marriage events to eventually lead up to Mumps having a very honest conversation.
- Events between Mumps and other villagers, especially Pam? Yes.
- More seasonal non-heart events are possible, most likely specific to non-dating.
- Better schedules, more varied or something. He currently has the same schedule every day of one season, so his schedule is only different between seasons, not days.
Currently known issues: Potential compatibility issues. All testing has been done with SVE installed so map locations may be weirder than intended for the moment. / Dialogues do not necessarily have matching portraits right now. Only six heart events, four requiring no hearts (one per season), and one event per heart (see readme).
