I am really hoping to use this mod, as I have been playing on my galaxy tablet and it auto selects your tool, I can't use the scrolling for tool selection at this point, I can't do it without the auto tool select. So, it's working and it does auto select the tool, but these red lock icons show up in the tool bar on top of the tools, I'm not sure what those mean. Also, the main problem is that anything ELSE in the tool bar, I cannot use while the mod is activated. I tried to plant my parsnip seeds but I could not select and hold up the seed packet. I accidentally put my house TV in my inventory but it would not let me select it in the toolbar to place it back down. Is there something wrong with my mod? Or is the intention to keep pressing F5 to toggle it on and off whenever you need to use something else in your toolbar that is not a tool?
The red lock on tool bar shows wheter the mod is active or not. The intention is to keep pressing F5 to toggle it on and off. Alternatively you can hold LCtrl to activate it and release it when you don't need it. How would my mod know what do you want to use when it's something else than tool? You could argue that my mod should at least select seeds or fertalizer, when you hover over the farmland. But how would my mod know which seeds or fertalizer player wants to use? With all that knowledge maybe you have other ideas how to activate my mod when you want. Maybe something more suit up to mobile device you use?
Update to 1.6 coming today. Sorry for not doing it right as soon as 1.6 hit live. I have loving-ghosting relationship with SV. It is my favorite game, because not only gameplay is great, but also I can fulfill my programming passion by making mods. But sometimes i forget about SV for months :/
I will update it once more. I just updated it to work with 1.6, but I just found new things to add to mod. It will be uploaded soon (edit) I just updated. I am not planning to add more features in the nearest future unless something comes to my mind or someone would suggest it. Or maybe there will be a bug to patch
Hello everyone, Sorry for not updating the mod for 2 + years. I have played other games and didn't have motivation or friends willing to play SV with. Since then I got girlfriend and am unsuccessfully looking for a job in gamedev (testing or game/economy design or managing Discord). About year ago I've told her that one day I would like to play SV with her, but first I have to update my mods. Yesterday she asked if we could play SV, so that gave me my motivation <3
Mod is now updated to current Smapi version. When player is targeting pet water bowl mod chooses watering can. There is still room for new updates and fixes - animal tools e.g.
Thanks for the mod, this made me switch from mobile to PC easier. Now that SV 1.6 has been released, this mod is incompatible with the new version. Is there a plan to update this mod to SV 1.6?

I'm still waiting for an update to this mod. There are many other mods that are similar, but this is the only one that lets you manually select the right tool by pressing some key.

It is still working in progress but it works for most of the things i think.
