Ripley is, in every sense of the word, Larger-Than-Life. Sunflowers turn to face her wherever she goes. She's easy conversation, her laugh takes over a room, her shoulder's always available, should you need it.

She's always around. In fact, if you stop to think about it, it's a little odd. Does she ever take time for herself? Does she even need it?

DISCLAIMER: Ripley is romanceable, but is NOT able to be married, and will not move in with the farmer if given the Mermaid Pendant. This is intentional and an important part of her storyline. She has custom dialogue for this, and the relationship can still progress past 10 Hearts without a wedding.

This means she is INCOMPATIBLE with any Polyamory mod, especially PolyamorySweet. Dating her while married to another NPC should be fine, but proposing to her with any item created by alternative romance mods will Break Her Brain!

So is Ripley her first name or her last name?
— It's her last name! She does not go by her first name for reasons she will get into later in her heart events. I personally respect her preference and would like for others to do so even when they learn what it is, but I won't correct anybody either!

How tall is she?
— She is 6' 6", or about 200 cm.

Is she romanceable?
— Ripley is able to be romanced, but not married, for reasons explained during her character arc. There will still be perks to dating her long-term, and she will have extra heart events and note the passage of time as though the two of you are partners, but she will not move in with you.

What does this phrase mean?/Did you spell this right?/Did she mean to say it like that?
— Ripley speaks with a very heavy accent specific to the Appalachian Mountain region of the Southern United States. I've done my best to balance writing out her dialect phonetically, while still making things easy to read, but some Appalachian turns of phrases might be difficult to understand, especially if you're not from the area or don't speak English as your first language. If you ask me what something means I will happily tell you! Just know that any unusual spellings, or any sentences that might be missing a word, are almost definitely intentional.

Will there be translations?
— People are more than welcome to translate Ripley!! Because she has a very specific way of speaking, I am happy to help any translators with the slang she uses and how it might look in other languages. When translations become available I will link them here.

  • Additional variety to her schedule and more animations
  • Additional seasonal outfits
  • More platonic and romantic dialogue for both late-game relationships

Compatibility:


  • Stardew Valley Expanded: Untested. Does not interact with characters or events from SVE. Any compat-fixes for the mod are on the bottom of my priority list.
  • Ridgeside Village and Visit Mount Vapius: Untested. Does not interact with characters or events from RSV but would like to add some overlap in the future.
  • East Scarp: Untested. Does not interact with characters or events from East Scarp, or any other content that requires ES as a base. Any compat-fixes for the mod are on the bottom of my priority list.
  • Multiplayer: Untested. Ripley's heart events are on the lengthy side, but all are skippable to prevent any potential conflict with other players.

Sunberry Village’s Additional Characters:
Ripley will interact with, and talk about most of Sunberry’s bonus residents! It’s highly recommended you install all of them for the best experience.
