Welcome to Meganium39's Clothing Repairs For Shane & Gus!
Do you use Poltergeister's wonderful seasonal outfits mod, but hate the fact that it brings up some inconsistency with Shane and Gus's portraits? Namely, how some of their portraits show them in damaged clothes like the base game but most of their other portraits don't have this?
Well, this mod changes that, by repairing Shane and Gus's clothes!
This mod affects the following portraits in Seasonal Cute Characters:
- Gus's fall portrait
- Shane's Ice Festival portrait
- Shane's Stardew Valley Fair portrait
- Shane's summer portrait
- Shane's spring portrait
***Please note that as of now, this is NOT a content patcher mod. You will have to manually go into the Seasonal Cute Characters mod files and replace the files with mine. For more details, see the How To Install section of this page. I do intend on making a CP version at some point but I am busy with other IRL projects and it's not high priority.***
How To Install
- Seasonal Vanilla UI
- UI Info Suite 2
- New Improved Hairstyles
- British English Localisation (for the 24-hour time feature)
- Seasonal Leaf Cursor
Future Plans
This is an early build of the mod, which I originally made for personal use. As such it is quite basic for now but I hope to add:
- Content Patcher compatability (so you don't have to manually switch out the image files and reinstall this mod for every SCC update)
- Some config options. The ones I have in mind are removing the Joja logo from Shane's coats, giving him full length pants in Spring, or keeping some of his sprites scruffy until after you've seen his 8 heart event
- A version for the base game portraits of Shane and Gus
- Maybe a version for Willy? But I personally feel as though Seasonal Cute Characters keeps his scruffy look quite consistent.

How To Install
- Download the file for Shane & Gus clothing repairs.
- Extract the ZIP somewhere, it doesn't really matter where.
- Find the folder for [CP] Seasonal Cute Characters in your Stardew Valley mods folder.
- This step is optional but reccommended- back up the original Shane and Gus portraits from Seasonal Cute Characters. They can be found in the folder [CP] Seasonal Cute Characters/Portraits/Shane for Shane and [CP] Seasonal Cute Characters/Portraits/Gus for Gus.
- Copy this mod's "portraits" folder into your "[CP] Seasonal Cute Characters" folder. When you are asked if you want to replace files with the same name, say yes.
