I simply adore the mod. But I've encountered two bugs up until now. I had 2 versions of Heart event 10 play out (first the old version where Sebastian said he never brings girls to the outlook and then the new updated one where he says he never brings women there). Also they were started just after 8pm and not 10pm. And now after marriage, Sebastian went to hang around Sam on Saturday morning and his dialogue mentions band practice. If it helps any, it is 13th of Fall, but it is only the first Saturday after the wedding, so I can't say if it will repeat.
Hi, thank you for letting me know! Do you have any other dialogue mods for Seb installed, and have you accidentally disabled schedule changes for Sebastian in config.json or through the Generic Mod Config Menu?
Just checked the settings and everything is ticked on in your mod. I went completely clean on mods for this playthrough. The only dialogue mod I have installed is the Canon-Friendly Dialogue Expansion. And I have the Immersive Spouses, but it never influenced any of the Sebastian mods I've used before. I've started using it as for some reason Sebastian started getting stuck on the bus stop with one of the game updates. Though it could be that. I will remove that one and see. Will give you a shout if it continues happening. Also for the first two weeks of Spring year 1, Robin and Sebastian would sometimes just be not available to talk while in the Science House. But again, the story is just great. Somehow it suits the character a lot and explains more why Demetrius and he have so much beef.
P.S. Sorry again for the spam. My chrome has been playing tricks with me lately.
Immersive Spouses is almost definitely the culprit. It gives Seb a Saturday marriage schedule where he goes to practice with Sam, and the issue with the bus stop is well known (here's an update for that, btw: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/22538).
I'm working on an update for the Robin/Seb y1 issues, and I will probably add a patch to turn off a lot of the Immersive Spouses changes for Seb, now that I know it's a problem. Older Seb's marriage schedule is already quite busy, and it looks like that mod will conflict more than usual. Kudos to you for finding and reporting it!

It was the Immersive Spouses. Turned it off and he didn't go to Sam's.
BTW, I've read the fanfiction someone wrote for the mod. Just *chef's kiss*. Also when Seb calls the player "farmer girl", just a great thing. Hope you'll continue adding to the story of the mod as the Older Seb is something that was defo needed.
Re: the actual mod, I'm enjoying it so far as well and I'm so glad to hear that you're looking into doing other characters as well. I suspect there's a fairly sizable number of older players like myself who are not really into the standard options and went straight for modded to find a more relatable mature experience

Hi there! Older Sebastian is a dialogue and events mod; it doesn't change the appearance of the character at all. I'm starting in the mod making business myself, but it's too dam hard, couldn't make anything work, so I'm trying to start from the bottom, making some translations. But my first project goal is to make a full mod for a improved June (from Ridgeside Village mod). Just love him, he's so sweet.
EDIT: Can I make a question? Do you have the info of how many characters fit in dialogue box, in stardew? Some sentences in english get pretty longer in portuguese
I don't think there is a set character limit; if there is one it's very high. After all, the number of characters that can fit into the dialogue box must change if a mod alters the box size/shape or the font size/shape. It might also change based on screen resolution, though I'm not sure on that one.
The good news is that anything over the character limit for one dialogue box just scrolls automatically when the user clicks, so there's no actual text length limit that I've come up against. If you somehow do run into one when making your own mods, you can add a break ( #$b# ) between sentences. I use them all the time for pauses.
For translating my mod, I don't think you will need to add extra breaks or do anything fancy. Hope that helps!
I'm loving this mod so much! As an older gamer this is exactly what I needed to make me feel less icky chasing my favourite emo boy :) I was wondering if it's compatible with the Pregnancy and Birth Events mod? I haven't added any other dialogue mods as I already have SVE RSV and ES and didn't want to have things messing up too much, but fancied giving this one a try. If it will clash with dialogue you've already added around this though I won't bother, as I find the extra's in this one to be really good! I've only just married him and no babies on the way yet lol

Older Seb doesn't have any pregnancy-specific dialogue or birth events, so it should *probably* not conflict with Pregnancy and Birth Events. The only event Older Seb has on the topic is an "Expecting" event, triggered about a week after conception, with a black and white version based off of whether the player has seen the 12 hearts (pt 3) event.
Other than that, I can't tell you if the dialogue from Pregnancy and Birth Events will conflict or break character. If you test it out, I would love to hear what you find out so that I can add PaBE to some sort of "master compatibilities" list or something.
Btw: have you noticed any lore conflicts with Ridgeside or East Scarp?
I haven't noticed any compatitbility problems with Ridgeside or East Scarp yet, but I admit I've barely scratched the surface with either of them :D I'm only Spring Y2 and I plan on diving into their content a bit more now my farm is getting set up! I will let you know if I notice anything weird, and I will run the pregnancy and birth mod too and see if it throws anything up. Love your work!
Unsure if this is a bug or not, but Ive noticed that sebastion and at least robin are sometimes uninteractable. the reason I am unsure is because I took a look at the dialogue file and noticed that when they are uninteractable is days where null is written.
for sebastion its the first wednesday of spring and im unsure if whats labeled as "wed2" is meant to be a different day or a continued dialogue on the same day and robin was uninteractable on friday of the first week as well. hadnt been able to gift them, gave the mod a reinstall to see if it fixed it and luckily it did so it seems to just be the dialogue being affected.
Love this mod <3 ! It's a great take and unique change up. Not a bug but in the Luau Y1 (haven't played further yet) Maru still refers to Sebastian as her brother rather than uncle.
Thank you for his wonderful story! I have a question about public baths. Will there be an update related to them in the future? It's still a mystery to me why Sebastian doesn't like them. But I guess it's because of the tattoos he got in prison. I want to solve this mystery XD

I don't really cover why he hates the bathhouse, except for a few bits of dialogue telling how they remind him of the prison environment. But the *game* reason for adding that dialogue was that I needed players to wonder and worry about the bathhouse so that they can find Seb during the 12 heart event. Sorry! No huge mystery, but maybe I will add more events related to that location in the future. :)
Oh, right! I remember this event, it was really heartbreaking. And yes, thanks to these dialogs with Seb, I immediately realized where to look for this sad little frog XD Thanks again! I already imagined that if Seba was really shy, then my Farmer would have agreed with Lewis and rented Baths for one night personally for her husband.
