A standalone pack of 5 farm caves, each with unique functionality. Choose to match your farm's aesthetic... or just for the function you want!

Have you ever wanted more farm cave variety? Do you prefer smaller farm caves? Need a balance between aesthetic and function? I've got you with this little collection of 5 unique farm caves!



  • 5 different farm cave layouts: Can be paired with any farm maps, as long as they do not have their own custom farm caves.
  • Unique functionality: Each farm cave has a special gimmick that fits their aesthetic.
  • Designs inspired by custom farm caves from my map mods: For if you don't want to use a specific map just to try out their custom farm caves.
  • Decorating space: Each layout has some extra empty space for placing machines... or just decorating, if that's your thing.



Farm Cave: Green

  • Greenhouse functionality: The cave acts as a greenhouse.
  • Fruit tree fruit spawn: Regardless of the farm cave choice, fruit tree fruit will always spawn on the grass in the right half of the cave (at least 1 fruit per day).
  • Fishing functionality: No fish, but the pond has an increased chance of fishing Driftwood and Green Algae.



Farm Cave: Quarry


  • Ore spawns: Ore spawns in the dirt terrain on the right half of the cave (at least 2 nodes per day).
  • Greenhouse functionality: You can also dig and plant on the dirt where the ore spawns, but this reduces the chances of ore spawning.
  • Water pond: You can fill your watering can in the pond.



Farm Cave: Fantasy


  • Cask functionality: You can place casks in this cave - the right half of the cave has a designated area for it!
  • Berry bush foraging: Several berry bushes spawn in this cave, and you can forage them for salmonberry/blackberry when in season.
  • Fishing functionality: You can fish for Vanilla regular Mines-exclusive fish and Cave Jelly in the springs, with an additional rare fish possibility.

There is a ~1% chance of fishing a Void Salmon from the springs.



Farm Cave: Cove

  • Beach forage spawns: Forage you can find on the Beach spawns in this cave (at least 2 spawns per day). Possible forage spawns are Seaweed, Clam, Coral, and Sea Urchin with an additional spawn possibility in certain seasons:

There is a chance for Crab and Rainbow Shell to spawn in summer, and Nautilus Shell in winter.



Farm Cave: Springs

  • Hot springs: The springs in the cave is functional and can restore stamina. Change by walking behind the bush near the plank bridge and jump into the springs by stepping off the little island.
  • Fishing functionality: You can fish for town river fish in the springs, with an additional rare fish possibility.

There is a ~15% chance of fishing a Cave Jelly from the springs.





  • Farm Cave Type: Change farm cave layout (Off, Green, Quarry, Fantasy, Cove, Springs). Switch to "Off" if using a map mod with a custom farm cave or other custom farm cave mods.
  • Foliage Recolor: Change the Fantasy cave's foliage color (Vanilla, Desaturated to match VPR/Earthy/Wittily, Bright to match Starblue).



Compatible with recolor mods: Vibrant Pastoral, Earthy, Starblue, Eemie, etc.
Conditionally Compatible with map mods that have their custom farm cave, but you have to choose one over the other (deactivate that map mod's farm cave or this one).
Not Compatible with mods that edit FarmCave.tmx (e.g. other standalone farm cave mods).







  • Not yet properly tested on multiplayer. Feel free to and report any multiplayer-related issues back to me.
  • Some lighting effects may not toggle immediately upon changing the farm cave layout while you're inside the farm cave. To correct this, move to a different location before going back in the farm cave
  • Toggling to and from the Fantasy cave layout mid-save may require the use of Reset Terrain Features to generate the forage bushes. To correct this, check the "bushes" box and click "generate" (or "clear" if switching from the Fantasy cave). Additionally, If you choose the "Mushroom" farm cave option, be careful of accidentally deleting the mushroom boxes while using RTF.
  • In general, try not to change the farm cave layout mid-save as it can result in unharvested forage/ore/objects spawning in inaccessible or wrong areas in the layout you switched to.
