Welcome to Cornucopia, a mod collection aimed at expanding crops, trees, artisan goods, recipes, and more, all in the spirit of vanilla!

Cornucopia is a reimagining of MizuJakkaru's More Crops Mod, fully rewritten for Content Patcher on Stardew Valley 1.6. It has all the crops and trees you know and love, as well as brand new crops, growable bushes, and new features; all using lovingly updated artwork from Mizu and 6480!

Cornucopia also strives to be modular. It gives options for adding a narrower range of items through configurable settings and self-contained modules. Want more fruits and veggies than you can shake a stick at? Want to add a narrower selection of new crops to supplement vanilla? More trees, new artisan goods and recipes? More granular item category (herbs, mushrooms, etc)? Changes can be toggled to give you control over Cornucopia's additions and changes so that the experience is what you're after and nothing more.

If you like flowers, check out the sister mod, Cornucopia - More Flowers!

  • 90+ crop and 35+ tree species and their associated produce
  • Berry bushes and mushroom stumps that can be planted and remain out of season, producing yearly when the weather is right.
Bushes and planters act like vanilla teabushes, meaning they don't need watering, should be planted in untilled soil, and typically take a while to mature. Keep in mind that mod integration for Lookup Anything and Automate is not currently implemented, so please harvest your bushes by hand!

  • Several new paddy crops, and a new tapper tree for rubber
  • Some new giant crops (and more on the way!)
  • Vanilla-minded artisan good additions for appropriate crops, such as flours and alternative methods of obtaining oil, sugar, and cloth
  • Toggles to enable crops and trees by user desires (See Configuring Cornucopia)
It is highly recommended to play with Growable Forage and Crop Bushes to match Cornucopia bushes.

  • Unique, hand-drawn sprites for all our fruit trees!
  • More Artisan Goods mod to expand upon the vanilla machines!
  • More Recipes mod to bring you new cooking recipes for both vanilla and Cornucopia produce!

This is a brief overview of the configuration options included in this mod. We recommend using Generic Mod Config Menu to configure your mod. See Configuring Cornucopia for more detailed help.

Cornucopia - More Crops comes with an automatically-enabled set of 17 iconic crops and 4 fruit trees. If you desire more than that, you can turn on the following options:

Enable Extended Crops Pack (Recommended): Adds an additional 40+ crops and bushes on top of the essential set.
Enable Extended Trees Pack (Recommended): Adds an additional 30+ fruit trees and 1 wild (tapper) tree.
Enable Herbs Pack: Adds 20+ new herbs as crops and fruit trees.
Enable Artisan Goods (Recommended): Adds a tiny selection of unique artisan goods (a few flours and keg products). Most other artisan goods will be included in the upcoming Cornucopia - More Artisan Goods.
Category Overrides:
Enables turning some Cornucopia items into the 'Nut' and 'Mushroom' categories. This effect is only visual. Only works if you have SpaceCore installed.
Vanilla Category Overrides: Enables turning some vanilla items into the 'Nut' and 'Mushroom' categories. This effect is only visual. Only works if you have SpaceCore installed.
Disable Grape Bushes: By default, vanilla grapes and Cornucopia white grapes will be added as teabush-like crops, so they can be grown year-round and produce only in fall. If you want them to act as regular crops instead, please set this to true.

1. Install SMAPI
2. Install Content Patcher and Custom Bush
3. (Optional) Install Generic Mod Config Menu and SpaceCore for some bonus features
4. Download the main .zip file from this mod and install it the same way you installed the other mods
5. When starting up the game for the first time, use Generic Mod Config Menu to choose which "Packs" you want to turn on or off.
You're ready to play!

To remove this mod, you can just delete it from your mod folder. Any items still left in your save file will safely be left behind as error items, which can be thrown away.

Deleted it by accident? No problem! Just reinstall the mod, and your error items will become normal items again. It's that easy!

Q: Is Cornucopia a sequel to PPJA?
While some of our crops may be familiar to users of PPJA, both mods are actually based on MizuJakkaru's original sprites for SDV, back in the days of xnb modding. As such, there may be many differences in content, as they're two different spins on the same foundation. If you're interested in seeing what exactly is included, check out our informational spreadsheet!

Q: Is Cornucopia compatible with [insert mod here]?
A:
Thanks to improvements in mod compatibility over the years, Cornucopia is technically compatible with any other mod, even those that add the same items. However, you may have different versions of the same crops if you have multiple large crop expansion mods. If these bother you, consider reading the Configuring Cornucopia page to see what is or isn't included in each Cornucopia module, as well as instructions on how to turn off unwanted modules!

Q: Do I need to download all the Cornucopia mods?
A:
Not at all! In fact, any of the Cornucopia mods can be played with entirely by themselves. We do not have any required Cornucopia mods. If you like having more cooking recipes or machine goods, but you don't like having more crops, you are welcome to download just those mods! Check out the Configuring Cornucopia page for more information.

Q: Can I help out?
A:
We are always looking for translations, feedback, suggestions, and bug reports! Please leave a comment, join our Discord, or reach out via DM if you want to get in touch.
