What this mod does: Replace the selection of skin tones for the Farmer/Player.
What this mod requires: SMAPI and Content Patcher
How to install this mod:
Manually: Download the zip file. Extract the folder '[CP] - New Skin Tones' using an extraction program. (WinZip, WinRar, or 7zip, 7zip has been my go-to for over a decade and it's free.) Take that folder and drop it into the Mods folder nested in the Stardew game folder.
Mod Manager: You can use Stardrop. Which I've positive experiences with (on Windows 10), since when updating/deleting mods it clears the entire folder. Info on its use should be on its page.
Is this compatible with 'X' body mod? I cannot guarantee that it will be, since I don't use body mods. I did try out Peach Body once and if you disable its skin tones option, it pulls from the default skins in game. Which is what this mod replaces and could be a way it could work. You'll have to ask for support by the creators of those body mods.
I have a visual glitch/bug: It's likely another mod is causing it. This mod only patches the vanilla skins. There's no coding/function for anything else. If you have something that affects the farmer's body: Body mods, swimsuit mods, farmer animations, etc, it's likely that. I'm inexperienced, so support for those issues will be limited and likely directed elsewhere.
Be sure to provide your SMAPI log when asking about issues.
How to change a farmer's skin in a saved game: You can use the Shrine of Illusions or you can use the Customize Anywhere to change your farmer's looks any time you want.
