Update 1.4.5 released. Changelog:
Updated to Pleased Giraffe and everything that came with it.
- Removed non-existent items. - Added new items (goddamn there's a lot). - Changed quests because structure slightly changed (no change for players). - Removed plasma guns, legendary guns and the pulse rifle in the randomized box, they seem to have been removed from the game.

From what i've checked this is the only current working version of this mod.
The mod author has also put a disclaimer which I will put here for you,
"Disclaimer As the creator of this mod, I have less and less time to put into developing this. I hereby give everybody permission to alter, add, extend and modify the current code and release it as their own. The only thing I ask for is to credit me as the original creator of the existing code and linking back to this thread whenever you do use it. Furthermore, I am completely fine with any modpacks including this mod, as long as they credit the authors of all mods in that particular modpack for what work they have put into it - aMannus."
aMannus is no longer working on or supporting this mod and has released it for use by other modders. There is an update in progress at http://community.playstarbound.com/resources/wip-creative-mode.3101/
Or you could simply type /admin into the chat in single player and boom you can spawn in anything in game dev stuff not to say the mod isnt helpful in some respects just an over sight
