Hey folks, as all of you know, at least those who read the description, there is still an issue with the SSE version I didn't really find a solution for. Please send a PM if you want to help, but need more INFO, or share your knowledge with me, if you can give advice on this problem!
Thanks in advance!

SSE-Version as is (two many repetitions of the same sounds): https://youtu.be/nr6om1TS4J4
The ESP is ESL-Flagged, so it doesn't show as such! When it's ESL-flagged, this is acutally better because this ESP can still be moved around in your loadorder, which you can't do if it's a normal ESL!
Hi, been tracking this since it dropped but haven't downloaded it til now since I was already testing something else in the soul cairn and I walked over bone piles and it reminded me of it.
Love this mod. I started with it at the bottom so I'll have to play with load order to figure out the right spot (also using ISC), but sounds great so far.
Really, my only suggestion, if you're open to suggestions, is to add some sort of jumping sound, as when you jump onto the bones it still has the light sounds as if you were just walking over them. A really satisfying crunch would go a long way into making this mod just perfect 👌🏻
Good idea, it was always a little immersion-breaking to silently walk through bone piles. Unfortunately there are several popular mods (like SMIM) that improve the bone pile meshes, which would require patches..
Does Immersive Sound Compendium already make sounds for walking on different surfaces including bones? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/523/
To answer your question, ISC doesn't include bone impact sounds, but Audio Overhaul for Skyrim does, though not for barefooted or sneaking.
Of course it doesn't change the bonepile meshes, so the bone sounds won't play on those meshes if using only AOS.
There are probably some other objects in the game that use the bone material, but the only ones I could find right now are the bones in Sovngarde just before the whalebone bridge. Not the bridge itself though, it uses some other material, just the "head" of the whale where Tsun stands.
So if I'm understanding correctly - if we have AOS installed - we should find whatever active NIF we have for bonepile 1-6, change the material to bone (as per Destro's helpful instructions) and have AOS bone sounds play? And if we like these sounds better just have them override AOS (but exclude the NIF overrides)?
Hello Destro loving this mod, in the you tube what areas had all those tunnels bone piles ? I'd like to request, or just ask , does this cover skeletons you've just killed, technically there afterwards there also bone pile ish , or might it be inculded further on in the mod ?

The sound problem has been solved, you need to install "unofficial Skyrim patch" by arthmoor in addition to "bonewalker"Please send a PM if you want to help, but need more INFO, or share your knowledge with me, if you can give advice on this problem!

Either way, great stuff. Endorsed.
If you want to change "Praedy's" bonepiles, to work with "bonewalker" you can change the material to bone! Here you can see how!
