The Story So Far: Made this primarily for my own main character. Since Alice Madness Returns is one of my favorite games ever, and the opportunity presented itself, I decided to mess with things to see if I could give this butterfly dodge feature to my very Wonderland themed char. I don' know much about animation mods for now, just started by editing some dodge mods, and adding little gimmicks and visual effects. Eventually it grew into its own thing and I think it became nice enough to share. Don't know if anybody else would want this, but here it is.
Based on DMCO (Currently using v2.1.19), but I also tried to keep compatibility with TK Dodge RE (v0.55-rc3)
REQUIREMENTS: Everything SE dodge frameworks do, IE Nemesis, DAR/OAR, payload interpreter, address library, etc... If DMCO or TK Dodge RE work, this should too. Also SKSE. Use Either:
*Note: I tried my best to implement compatibility with this one, but sometimes the butterflies don't show up. I don't know if this is an issue on my end, or the mod's. Either way, compatibility is there but it doesn't work very well.
Issues: Stuck on animation: Yeah, sometimes it happens... Think it's more of a DMCO thing than a "this mod" one. I just try to make dodges effective, timed, and efficient to not incur in this bug. if it happens, unsheathing seems to un-stuck the player.
Credits and Thanks for Assets and Permissions :D YRM - Animations: He made most of the base HKX files. Skypia - Animations: Some of the moves have also been repurposed from Sorcerer Combat Animation Idextroyer - Concept: I reversed-engineered Stylish Dodge Chaos to begin attempting to understand how animation mods like this work.
