Here is the Stalhrim Retexture! For this one, I really wanted to challenge myself by making it compatible with (what I believe to be) the most popular Stalhrim mods out there. I hope you all like it! COMPATIBILITY
Works with every mod that also works with vanilla textures. When installing the mod, you will be prompted between 4 options, pick whichever meshes you are using in your modlist. My mod does not include any meshes of its own, but different meshes require different textures and/or texture paths, so it is very important that you pick the right one : Vanilla Meshes / no refraction (basically anything that also works with vanilla stalhrim textures), Refrozen Stalhrim, Resurgence armory - Stalhrim Weapons and Armors overhaul or Cathedral armory / refractive stalhrim.
If you are not sure which one to use in your game, I highly recommend choosing between Refrozen and Resurgence. Both are really great mods with lots of compatibility patches. Both will give nice refractions to the stalhrim meshes. Refrozen makes them look more like magical ice and resurgence makes them look more like thick ice.

Update 1.1 - Added Refrozen patch for CC open helmets. Thank you to people who let me know where I could find the original mesh patch (in the Creation Club Open Helmets FOMOD). I did not know it existed! If you already downloaded 1.0, you can download the open helms patch on its own, in the update section. If not, the file is merged into version 1.1 of the retexture
Would be cool to see my old Deathbrand replacer touched up. Would you be interested or have you moved on? My replacer leans into the Daedric lore/mythos of the set, so it's red Stalhrim with Daedric language on it.
Absolutely love the support for Resurgence, but it seems the newer version of the mod replaced the models for Soulrender and Bloodscythe, so the textures from this aren't compatible. Wondering if this will get updated for these changes?
okay so I have no clue when this started but im just now noticing it, A few of my stalhrim weapons have no textures. the shields, the battleaxe, the sword, the quiver, & the dagger all have no textures, I have more informative console & that tells me WACCF was the last one to change the baseID or whatever but i looked into the bsa & that mod doesnt touch stalhrim so I have no clue what I have done & since your mod is the only stalhrim mod iv got I figured I would try my luck here.
Hi, sorry if this hve been answered already, but some people said that cathedral armory forwarded the changes from Leanwolf mod. If I only installed cathedral armory, do I need to select leanwolf patch in this mod installer?
The only thing the leanwolf patch in my fomod does is retexture the custom scimitar model it adds. I don't think cathedral armory includes it, so you wouldn't need the patch
Could we possibly get a version for Refracting Stalhrim Armors and Weapons? It's the OG Stalhrim refraction mod by skysan and a classic staple in a lot of people's load orders. IMO it also has the best refraction technique out of those available but ofc that's subjective.
EDIT: Nevermind, the author's comment on Refracting CC Stalhrim mentions that choosing the Stalhrim Refrozen option in your installer works fine with skysan's method. Thanks for your hard work!
I'm obviously biased, but I like to think the appeal of my retextures is that I cover more stuff than Amidianborn and offer consistency patches / optional retextures for other mods. (For example, Amidianborn doesn't cover stalhrim or chitin)
For the armors we both cover, it's down to personal preference. Amidianborn is great and Cabal is an amazing artist. I'd say check screenshots on our pages and decide what looks more appealing to you
