Got rid of the Perk script as it had no rational use. Now everything is mangaged with the alias script. Maybe this fixes the issue for some people, that the mod don't work.
Added a slider option to the mcm so you are able to set how quiet all sounds will get if a book gets read out.

[Info] Due to Sykrim VR ESL Support, VR is no longer actively supported. You'll still find it under 'Old versions'
[Description] This mod is a complete rewrite of the original mod from Bassna "Audiobooks of Skyrim". I made this, because it's such a great mod but unfortnunatley bassna is absent for years now. I wanted to recreate the mod for a better useability and to fix the bugs which are present with the original mod.
These are the advantages of my mod over the original one:
MCM with setable Hotkey to stop audio and de/activate the whole mod -> No messagebox
Audiomenu for volume settings
Flagged as espfe
Most if not all bugs from the original mod are fixed
Edited audio files for a hopefully better sounding (I'm no audio artist)
Added missing books/journals/notes and letters as long as an audio source was available
Hopefully at some point a complete german version
As there are so many books in the game, please report if you fall over a missing book or a wrong text, so I could fix it.

Download Part 1 and install manually or with your prefered mod manager
Download Part 2 and install manually or with your prefered mod manager (merge files)
If you want some german books read out loud, download from 'optional' and overwrite the ones from the main files.
