Have you ever looked at smartbluecat's fantastic INIGO follower mod and thought, "this is great, but I wonder what it would be like if he looked like those guys from Arena"?

...No?

Me neither, really. But for as much as I love Inigo's original look, the base game Khajiit facemorphs can be a little bit inexpressive at times—and so I wondered what all of his expressive dialogue would look like spoken on a humanoid face mesh. Thus, Inigo the Ohmes was born.

Inigo the Ohmes is a (more or less) lore-friendly replacer based on the Ohmes furstock of Khajiit. This is far from being intended as an "upgrade" and much more of a "what if" interpretation. Visually, he might look like a Bosmer, but gameplay-wise, he's completely unchanged. All of his perks, skills, and stats match his base-mod version. Lore-wise, I tried to make him as accurate as possible, down to the cat-like face paint—however, he's actually bit taller than Bosmer, whereas Ohmes are described as sometimes being shorter. I made him this way because with Inigo's characterization, it felt odd to imagine him as being shorter than everyone else in Tamriel. I chalk this up to normal genetic height variation. Inigo's just a big guy! If it bothers you, you can always change his height with the setscale command or xEdit.

As for all of Inigo's voice lines mentioning his claws, tail, etc, those are unchanged. I consider it a bit of good 'ol Ohmes physical delusion; "bald" and "unclawed" are insults even for Ohmes, and they hate to be compared to men or mer, so it's not hard to imagine them calling their humanoid nails "claws" and hair "fur". This is also why Inigo hides his pointy ears with his hair; he's not exactly a Khajiiti nationalist, being more culturally Imperial, but I feel like he'd still want to be distinguished from an elf in this alternate-universe interpretation. Speaking of his hair, it's that same trademark blue, though it sometimes looks a bit closer to black depending on the lighting/your ENB. Regardless, it's still an unnatural hair color for either Bosmer or Khajiit, so his lines about his blue fur still make some sense. The FOMod contains an optional version with hair that's even bluer if that's what you prefer.

REQUIREMENTS
Obviously, this mod requires INIGO, version 2.4. Besides that, it was built to be entirely standalone. However, two extra recommendations must be made.

1) This mod will use whatever skin you're currently using, but it was built with Vitruvia in mind. The colors and sculpting were based on Vitruvia, and I also just think it looks the best, especially for this face. All of the screenshots on the mod page were taken using Vitruvia. If Inigo doesn't match the photos (his lips are too dark, his skin tone doesn't match, etc), this is likely the culprit.

2) Consider downloading Expressive Facial Animation. It's less required, but I tweaked Inigo's proportions using it, so it makes his speaking and emotion animations look much better. Inigo's smile looks a bit goofy without it, for instance, and the lip syncing (one of the points of this mod) looks much smoother with it.

Both of these could theoretically be packaged into the mod to affect only Inigo and not the player/other NPCs, with some knowledge of xEdit. However, it would be a bit too much of a hassle to make Vitruvia work for every modlist (especially if you're trying to use a different body mesh, which I do), and Niroku doesn't want their morph files redistributed at all, so I won't try to package these myself. The .tri data included is from High Poly Head.

CONFLICTS
This mod is, obviously, incompatible with other Inigo replacers.

Since this mod changes Inigo's race, EasyNPC doesn't... quite work great with it. You'd have to set this mod as the default, not Inigo.esp. But, at that point, considering only one NPC is changed, it would probably be much simpler to just place this mod at the bottom of your load order, below your merge. Just make sure the .esp is at the bottom as well.

Mods that use spell perk item distributor on Bosmer, Bosmer NPCs have Antlers being the huge one, will affect Inigo as well. There's not much I can do about this across the board without more work than I'm willing to put in for a silly replacer mod, so for the time being it's just a matter of if you're willing to have an Inigo with antlers or not. If someone else is willing to make a patch for this, it'd be greatly appreciated.
