Changelogs

Variety in weapons used by the Imperial legion has always been a pet peeve of mine, one that I partially addressed in Heavy Armory by extending the Imperial weapon range.
With this mod I take it one step further and introduce a new Imperial themed weapon and armour set.

This mod also adds a new Imperial Silver armour and helmet, 7 new weapons, plus another 6 weapons if you install one of the Armory
additions.

Imperial Silver weapons are used by the highest officers of the Imperial legion in Skyrim. Also some higher members of the Penitus Oculatus have access to them. General Tullius, the 10 Legates, as well as the Penitus Oculatus members Commander Maro, Captain Avidius, and Lieutenant Salvarus, will get an Imperial Silver weapon. The armor is exclusivley used by the Legates.
These items are distributed using SPID.

If you don't use SPID, you will still be able to find some of these items placed in logical places in the game world.
You’ll also be able to craft them at any forge once you are promoted to the rank of Legate during the Legion questline, and have the Advanced Armors perk!
The mod installer also has an option for player's who want to be able to craft the new items without the quest requirement!

Imperial Silver weapons are similar to the Glass tier in terms of damage, but weigh much less. They also gain the Silver weapon bonus against Undead and Werebeasts! Imperial Armor is close to Ebony.

Weapons and armor are distributed to NPC's using SPID. You can use this mod without SPID and still obtain the entire set or armor and weapons, but these items will be more rare. Consider SPID a soft requirement for my mod.

Patches
The FOMOD installer comes with a couple of patches built in.

   - Audio Overhaul for Skyrim by David Jegutidse & Immersive Sounds - Compendium by lazygecko
Patches some of the weapons to use new sounds from these mods. The installer should auto detect which mods (if any) you have active

   - Heavy Armory by PrivateEye & Animated Armoury by NickaNak
Extends the Imperial Silver range with 6 new weapons. Both of these add-ons can be used together or separately from each other.

   - CCOR & WACCF by Kryptopyr
There are different variations of these patches included in the installer, but the correct ones should be auto-selected for you!

  - Royal Armory - New Artifacts by PrivateEye
RA already adds unique weapons to General Tullius, Legate Rikke and Commander Maro, so this patch removes the distribution of Imperial Silver weapons to not clutter their inventories

 - Beyond Skyrim: Bruma by the Beyond Skyrim Team
Distributes Imperial Silver items to the Legates in Fort Pale Pass.

Recommended
I can highly recommend you get these mods as well.

   - Imperial Armors and Weapons Retexture SE by Xavbio
An excellent retexture of the Imperial set. Works great with the Imperial Silver weapons. In fact, Xavbio allowed me to use their retextures as a basis for creating my own textures for the Imperial Silver armor set!

   - Frankly HD Imperial Armor and Weapons by FrankFamily
Another amazing retexture mod. This mod will have 2 conflicting files with mine. Let FrankFamily's retexture overwrite them.

- Will you / can I make a patch for  {INSERT MOD X}?
In general, I am likely to make a patch if it is a mod I use myself, or that's otherwise easy to throw together. But of course, if you want to take things into your own hands and create a patch for any conflicting mod you find, then you are free to do so.

- How can I craft Imperial Silver armor and weapons?
First, you’ll need the Advanced Armors perk. Secondly, you will only be able to craft them once you’ve reached the rank of Legate in the Imperial legion. Technically, this means you need to complete quest "Rescue from Fort Kastav".

Alternatively, the installer contains an "Alternative Crafting" option. Install this, and the Imperial Legion requirement will be dropped. You'll only need the AA perk.

Xavbio, for allowing me to use their textures as a starting point for creating my own. Thank you again, and thank you for your amazing work!

DrMonops, for his never ending support, time , and wisdom. And for creating the WACCF and CCOR patches.

 LordMithro, for testing.
