    Hello! I finally finished conversion of animations to male skeleton :D

    For women there is Female Player Animations (DAR) idle animation pack

    To add warm up animations, shoulder rub, checking armor, scratching head and so on to NPCs install my NPC Animation Remix (DAR) mod

    To add long idle animations with hands folded to NPCs install my Immersive folded hands (DAR)

    To add some delay between run and idle you can use S.M.C. - Skyrim Motion Control

    Is there a way to delay the animations from starting? I find it awkward that the character starts the animations almost immediately after stopping.

      Yes, but you can make it for NPCs also by removing OAR condition IsActorBase 7
      I don't recommend it though, it will delay idle animations from NPCAR and will look repetitive overall

    Yoyo, should I use the EVG Patch if I use OAR? or is the patch only for DAR? Technically I have both, but am migrating to OAR.

      Patch for EVG CI is DAR because EVG CI currently is DAR mod, so just install OAR version of my mod, EVG CI DAR and my DAR patch for it

    First of all, I'm sorry if I wasn't good at explaining English because I'm not good at it.
    I would like to ask, is it your understanding that if you put mt_idle.hkx of another motion MOD into the MPA OAR customization folders file, you can also use the motion of that motion MOD?

      Yes, you can put there mt_idle.hkx animations made by other mod authors, just make sure file name is mt_idle

      Thank you for your explanation.So, for example, if I put mt_idle.hkx from Seamless Varied Masculine Idles OAR into the male file, am I correct in thinking that I can use both mods without conflict?And I'm sorry many times.

      With that Seamless Varied Masculine Idles mod you can do it like that:

      • Unzip Seamless Varied Masculine Idles, delete all config.json files
      • Rename "Idle 1" folder to "add01" and so on 
      • Select renamed folders from add01 to add08, copy and paste into empty folders my mod provides, merge together
      After that you will have 8 idles added with config files I made to have proper Random value. Also you can use add09 and add10 folders similarly with other idles

    Which animations are the ones with arms down (their names)? All of them. I'd like to disable them, please.

      In that case open OAR in game and uncheck folders you don't want, then press Save user config. Submods have names with a short description what animation is in them. Also you can use animation log to see name of submod that added animation now playing.
      This is not something I can do for you remotely...

      I know you can't do it, I was just asking for the names of animations so I could do it in OAR in-game. What I see are things like "good mood player idle" but that doesn't tell me much.

      The main reason I want to disable these animations is because player hands are clenched into fists, or sort of semi-clenched, it looks weird. I don't like player hands clenched into fists unless they're in unarmed combat position (not even while running).

      Pretty much every animation will have semi-clenched fists, you can disable everything besides 12, 11, 10, 09

      You could also consider modifying these animations slightly to have relaxed hands? As an optional file. Verolevi did a similar thing for their Male Idle Walk and Run.

      I will be recreating all animations relatively soon and it is possible that default position of fingers will change a bit, but it still will be semi-clenched most of the time, because this is anatomical and I am using myself for reference afterall))
      You can try to correct existing animations to suit your vision using hkxPoser

    Do I still need EVG patch?

      Without it my warm up animation for cold weather in not going to be seen in game at all. If you don't care, you can skip patch installation, if you want to have more variety - install

    Does this still work with DAR? I see that the folder is now named OpenAnimationReplacer. Can I rename it to DynamicAnimationReplacer for it to work, or do I have to do more?

      No, just disable DynamicAnimationReplacer and install Open Animation Replacer and activate. All your DAR animation mods will work as usual, no need to convert. OAR is more stable than DAR, it is worth to make the change!

      Okay... DAR has never given me trouble, though. I've noticed that everyone is switching to OAR, but you know the saying - if it ain't broken...
      I guess I'll have to make the switch. I hope all of my animations will work with OAR without additional work.

      I completely understand "don't fix it" principle, only now after couple of months I am starting to convert my mods :)
      I am sure your DAR animations will be working with OAR

      Yeah, I've also noticed when OAR first came out, but I waited until most of the kinks were fixed because DAR was working fine for me.
      Btw thank you for these lovely animations, I've also downloaded your female animations, and I had the folded hands ever since it first came out, you're creating magic

      OAR feature Replace on loop is very cool, now all idles with appropriate conditions can play one after another instead of just one repeating

    Hello,

    Great mod. I have been using this for a long time. Now that improved camera (another great mod) is finally on se, I tried to add that to my modlist. However, the fake first person view created by improved camera seems to take custom animation skeletons into consideration, which makes the camera shaking violently in first person. Any plans to add a compatibility for that mod in the future? Or is it possible to somehow disable idle animation in the "first person" view?

      Hello! I am using Improved Camera myself with my long idle animations and for some reason I only see gentle camera bobbing. Perhaps thats because Fable Lore modlist I have installed has some kind of mod like Camera Noise and it overwrites movement Improved Camera picks from animations.
      I also use True Directional Movement, maybe it matters...
      For now my suggestion is to try adding Camera Noise. In the future I will try to make animations more smooth, but I have no desire to make character stand still, I had too much of that :)
