    1. If you are installing this mod mid-game and had Dirt and Blood running, make sure your 'soap is required for bath' option in MCM is set to what you want!

2.If the soaps in your inventory doesn't work after updating this mod / applying a new patch, one way to solve the issue is dropping them on the ground and picking them up again.

    3. (1.4.0 and newer versions) If you are using EVG Conditional Idles, goto the meshes/actors/character/animations/DynamicAnimationReplacer/_CustomConditions folder.
    In folders:

    6001901
    6001902
    6002102
    6002101

open the _conditions.txt files and add the following:

     AND
    NOT HasMagicEffect("Dirt and Blood Expanded.esp"|0x00000E5D)

    4. Regarding the DBC(LL version of the Dirt and Blood) patch
DBC fundamentally changes how Dirt and Blood works, and so to accommodate it, the patch had to majorly change the script of DNBE as well. I've also included a bug fix of the original DBC mod (when you first start the game or reset the mod, you don't get the visual overlay). So there's been a lot of changes going on in that patch. However, since I don't play with that mod I didn't get to test it as much as I'd like. If there is any bug, please let me know. If you are using the patch, the Load order should be:
    Dirt and Blood
DBC (LL version Dirt and Blood)
    DnBE
    DBC Expanded patch

    Version Info

    1.5.0a
DBC Expanded patch 1.5.0a includes additional fixes for the DBC mod scripts to make it more faithful to the origianal mod and make sense to use it with DnBE.
The original swimming/raining partial wash function makes your status to dirt level 1, unless you were clean. (bloods all become dirt1, dirt2,3,4 becomes dirt1)
DBC makes it so that rain/swimming washes away one level of dirt/blood no matter what level you are in.
This update makes it so that the DBC behaves the same as the original mod. This fix is included in order to make sure the player can't get fully clean without soap, as per the mod design of DNBE.

When my character washes themselves, the dirt/blood returns immediately. I tried messing around with the settings (like enabling swimming & rain to clean dirt) and it still happens. idk how to fix this.

Hey folks, anybody running into issues with head / hands not displaying dirt and blood when using DBC / SLACS (from LL), with DNBE?

Or had been having those issues and fixed it? Stuff like body morphs come to mind or other overlays?

Jayserpa updated DnB with 2.35. Based on the changelog, it has some really enticing fixes and changes, such as the requirement for water which matches DnBE's respective addition and the fix for non-functional inventory soaps.

If you're starting a fresh game, I highly recommend eschewing DnBE and just sticking with DnB 2.35. If you're using my interim patch or are insistent on using DnBE, don't update DnB; stick with 2.34. Jayserpa didn't correctly increment the version number per conventions that other mod authors follow, so this might also be confusing for you as a user.

You can check the stickied post on my patch's page for other relevant info.

Thank you for this post.  I'll be sticking with 2.34 as well, so I can keep using all my KIC-DnBE stuff.

Is there a reason the iNeed and iNeed x InnSoaps patches need USSEP? iNeed itself doesn't, and I don't use USSEP.

Hi, any chance for making a compatibility patch for this texture mod that's for Dirt & Blood + Dirt & Blood and Cum:

Hello, I can't make soap. I own CACO, so I downloaded the patch. I have activated the display of all recipes. I don't use Hunterborn. Anyone know why or what I'm doing wrong. (dsl I'm not English)

I'm using both Inn Soaps (Dirt and Blood v2.0 or newer version) and InnSoaps - Dirt and Blood, along with the patch provided by DNBE.

The issue I'm having is that Inn specific soaps are not being sold as intended by using these two mods + the patch.

Instead the vendors there just sell the generic soaps like every other inn.

I know I can just add the Inn Specific soaps using console commands, but I would prefer to get them in an immersive way.

Is there a way to fix this?

      UPDATE:
I fixed it by making sure that "BothSoaps_DNBE.esp" loads after "InnSoaps - Dirt and blood.esp" and "Inn Soaps.esp".
Since I'm using Vortex, changing the load order isn't as straightforward.
I needed to go to Plugins, find "InnSoaps - Dirt and blood.esp", double click it, then under Group change it to "Early Loaders".
"Inn Soaps.esp" was already loaded before, so didn't need to change it.
