Hey there SImdrew1993 here, I may add more patches later to support more mods.

Regarding: RDO (Relationship Dialogue Overhaul Patch)
For now I've temporarily removed the RDO patch and suggest users hold off on downloading it until the new version is available. So in the meantime I've moved it to Old Files until I can get V2 uploaded. V2 will fix the Loot Errors, and there will be plenty more dialogue implemented. I've been extremely busy so I cannot say when the new version will be uploaded. Thanks.

Debating on plans for the RDO patch, With my Aventus Aretino - Fully Voiced Mod, I've been working on the RDO patch, updating it and removing errors. There will be alot more lines, I'm thinking about, instead combining the RDO patch, a Hug Patch, and the Original Quest I was working for the main mod to have him be a follower, talk about Grelod, Assassin or Apprentice, Good or Evil, and Making an Aventus Fully Voiced - Expansion Patch instead which would be much larger and include so much more content, which would expand and flesh out his character significantly.  I still have yet to get his appearance overhauls onto Xbox, last time I tried to the patches broke my game lol, had to reinstall, fun.... (Sarcasm)
It's like Bethesda isn't packing the files properly anymore, or uploading them properly which is annoying. For now I plan to update my Dragonborn Imperial Empire (Armor, (DIE mod, then work on Aventus some more. Hopefully get these custom quests working! Wish me luck!

Regarding Simple Children mod:  SImple Children has a problem with the facegen files and this mod here can fix it, if that mod happens to have an endless loading screen error, download this:  Infinite Loading Screen FIX (USSEP 4.1.8 - Simple Children Patch) at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Version 2.0 Officially released, What's new in 2.0 you ask? Well I fixed the bothersome and common Loot Error which is Created by Creation Kits failure with formID's after saving lol, and almost all sound files are named accordingly so they function. Added in more dialogue that wasn't present before. Now the mod is cleaner than before, shows no errors in Loot and should work great! It's been tested thoroughly with no problems. Oh and any of my patches will work with the main mod even if they are an older version they are still compatible.

There is one line of dialogue about Critters, that may or may not play if Aventus brings home a Mudcrab or Skeever. It may play sometimes and other times it may not, it's very strange. Although, dialogue for pets like dogs always play. I may update this later in the future, we'll see. Every time I update the mod in Creation Kit and save it, I have to convert to ESP in Xedit because loot throws that error, then I have to recompact the files for ESL, convert back to ESL and fix the Loot Error again because Creation Kit will mess the mod up every time I save it every single time I update it, CK renumbers and names form ID's outside their valid range so ESL breaks so then I have to rename them all to their new names and use programs to help, it's a pain. As for that one line about critters the files appear proper and linked correctly, so it's strange how sometimes this one dialogue does function and other times it doesn't.

    NOTE:
If anyone is able to work on the quest version of my files under misc dialogue I would greatly appreciate it, thanks. Please send it back to me if you get it working then I can make the mod alot better. I may still attempt it again myself later. Darn thing just refused to function before haha.

Please report any bugs and problems to me right away. I've tested everything thoroughly and haven't noticed any issues..Everything seems to be functioning well, I only noticed one small problem that occurs time to time is the dialogue option to move to another house sometimes disappears for Aventus, which is strange, although I may have fixed it before uploading. Anyway have fun and feel free to download. Haven't noticed it anymore.

NOTE: He is compatible with any Aventus Aretino Overhaul mod.
Please download adopt Aventus Aretino as well:  Adopt Aventus Aretino at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)

Be sure to download his new version V2 under main files.

LOAD ORDER:  For Aventus Replacer mods put those down as far as they will go in your load order make sure they are after the Aventus Voiced mod, feel free to make requests too if you want to see a certain child overhaul mod have added patch support to my mod. If you use my Aventus mod and for example RSChildren, or Realistic RS Children, or TK CHildren or whatever, only use my replacer patches after downloading them as well and not an appearance patch from another mod as they will not work or look right, must only use mine.

Load order should be as follows
    For example

    Adopt Aventus Aretino
    Aventus Fully Voiced
    Aventus RDO Patch

Then if you use an appearance overhaul mod, example 2:
    (Place Original Child Overhauls First)

RS Children.ESM (Or any Child Overhauls)
    RS Children.ESP
    Adopt Aventus Aretino
    Aventus Fully Voiced
    Aventus RDO Patch

Then these as low as possible if you use them.
    Realistic RS Children
    Aventus Realistic RS Children Patch
    Adopt Aventus Innocence Lost Patch

The Aventus Appearance patch of mine should come last and as low as possible. I've noticed many child mods seem to function best at bottom of load order too. Like I use RS Children and Realistic RS Children, so I put both at very bottom of Load order then my Aventus Patches after.

Compatible with Adopt Aventus Innocence Lost Patch
Must place that after Adopt Aventus and Adopt Aventus Voiced Patch.

For Prince and Pauper I recommend you use the new Prince and Pauper Refined:  Prince and The Pauper Refine (Fixes - Improvements - New Child Outfits - No NPC Edits) at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)
It doesn't change the faces if you select the right option, the FOMOD installer option has different settings so you could get just the clothes without affecting Aventus's face, highly recommend and even the original mod author of Prince and Pauper use this mod now instead of their own.

    FUTURE PLANS:

Patch for Multikid and Hearthfire expanded, and Improved Adoptions to allow more dialogue. One of these mods adds in more dialogue for playing games like tag and hide in seek that aren't present in vanilla lines which are spliced together. I'd eventually like to add Follower functionality by quest stages, along with the quest for him to be apprentice or assassin which would enable this, discussion about Grelod, Good or Evil for how he will turn out, and maybe more. Recommend tracking to stay updated.

EDIT: For some reason trying to make a patch for Multikid causes a crash, the mod itself cannot even be loaded into Creation Kit without crashing, so nevermind that, unfortunately. Not sure why, so I suppose I won't be able to cover the dialogue for that mod after all or have a working patch.

I plan to update the RDO patch eventually, allowing even more dialogue and fixing this bothersome treacherous Loot error created by Creation Kit for the RDO patch that happens with Voiced ESP/ESL's after forms get compacted and saved, stupid Creation Kit!

I'd also like to Speak to my friend WhiteWolf424242 about adding in support for I'mGladYou'reHere mod.
Currently in the process, I've written him, hopefully he receives my message and will accept my request, then Aventus will have dialogue with his mod. Which means if he accepts, the player will be able to hug Aventus and he'd have custom dialogue, honestly he probably needs it more than any other character in the game since Grelod messed him up so bad and pushed him so far over the edge he contacted the dark brotherhood for help..

EDIT: I've spoken to my friend WhiteWolf, he isn't sure if he'll have time to add Aventus to I'mGladYou'reHere as he's very busy and also has numerous requests from other modders, he can't make any promises though on if he will or not in the future, here's hoping. In the meantime he showed me how to make a temporary solution to add dialogue myself although it failed and couldn't get the scripts to compile, so sadly this won't be happening.

    (Legendary Edition released for Oldrim)

Feel free to share screenshots here on the mod page and also give Hydreigon's Adopt Aventus mod love and an endorsement too if you like this mod!

Always be sure to download the newest updates. It's very important. Thanks!
Disclaimer: I hold no responsibility for your game or saves if something fails to work or breaks. I cannot guarantee updating the mod mid save or later will work, there is always a chance with mods that something could break or conflicts with other mods. I've tested as have others and have seen no signs of this and I've tested updates mid save with no problems, so I advise you always back up your saves.

Found one small line of missing dialogue for the wedding quest when children congratulate their parents for getting married: This is a note to myself and others. I will add this in later for the main mod file after a next update,
Added in missing dialogue. Please comment or share screenshots of any missing dialogue with me if you see any, and I'll add them in later, also feel free to make requests and you're more than welcome to share screenshots and video with me. Thanks!

So I've been able to adopt Aventus, but I can't get him to follow me and I can't offer to have him join the DBH.  Am I doing something wrong or are these simply not supported features?

No, those features haven't been implemented into the mod.

Can you confirm if they are eventually planned to be a part of the mod?

For now, no. I had planned it originally for those features but it's still up in the air. I may decide to work on it again in the future but I make no promises. So for now just consider it as a no unless I decide to reboot the project.

If I might make an observation on your mod? Instead of doing all the things you are hoping for in one big mod, I think you need to break it down into smaller pieces.  Like for instance, Version 1.0 would focus on making Aventus be adoptable, recruitable as a follower, and able to join the DBH.  Later some of the more complex features could be added like additional voice lines, quest integration or integration with other mods, etc and thus become version 2.0, 3.0, etc.

I can see from your notes that you have some really impressive things in mind with this, but currently there are no working mods on the Nexus that are even doing these 3 basic things (adopt him, make him a follower & recruit him to the DBH).

I also have an idea for you regarding voice acting:  Eleven Labs AI.  Now before everyone freaks out with this one, hear me out.  It is relatively easy to create a entirely new voice model with Eleven Labs and from that point you can completely replace the existing voice files for Aventus.  This also means that you can create entirely new voice files to have him say whatever you like.  By creating a new voice model you are not using any of the existing in game files (so the original voice actor can not claim you have "stolen their work" or anything similar).  Personally if you opt to go this route I'd recommend uploading the voice files as a separate download in case something get corrupted or whatever it is easier to figure out where the corruption has come from vs uploading the entire thing at once.

Just my humble opinion (and one which I hope is coming across as constructive).

I already have broken it down in small patches. The mod itself is not a large mod, it just adds basic adoption/functionality/voiced dialogue, so he has the same amount of dialogue as any other child as Bethesda originally intended as he was originally supposed to. Patches are to include more dialogue to cover other mods.

Indeed, but it's a work in progress so those ideas may or may not come to the mod for certain, if they do it would likely be in the form of a patch, not sure yet.

That's how this mod was made possible was using Eleven Labs AI, I've already stated this. Cloning an existing voice of the same game is fine with most Voice Actors. I have no idea why you would want to replace the existing voice type though don't understand you there.

      Alright, noted.

There was a huge argument that exploded on the Nexus a year or so back around the use of AI cloning for voice files.  Some of the professional voice actors got REALLY mad about the whole thing and called out Nexus (and the modding community) by name and it became this huge debate.  Other voice actors either haven't noticed or just didn't seem to care either way.  My suggestion about creating unique voice files was in the event that this particular data set (the voice files for Aventus) was being problematic, then there is a work around for that.  Hopefully it is not an issue, nor will it become one.

Yes, a few I'm well aware. Most of the Skyrim VA's don't care. If the voice was cloned for another game outside of Bethesda then It'd likely be an issue, but since it's for a Skyrim mod it's not.

It's not gonna become an issue, this download page has been here for a long time, a few years now. I'm done discussing this. Now let's be done with this conversation.

Not at the moment no, I've been away from modding since last November. So not sure when I will resume working on it again. So not certain yet if I will add it or not.

I'm sorry to hear you had such a hard time, but glad you got it working in the end. You're welcome! ^_^

I've had listed the proper Load Order in the pinned comment above so people wouldn't have this issue.

Do you have rs children patch option for non-ussep?
I think the older version had it but I cannot find it here. It says I'm missing a master file.

The Simple Children patch for this mod has TKChildren's esm and esp set as masters but you're supposed to disable those files when running Simple Children. Could you possibly update it to remove those masters, please?

Do I need a patch for the original mod too? The author said that I supposedly didn't, but so far it doesn't seem to be working. The patch is below both mods, so I don't know what may be the cause if not that.

Below both mods? No that's not gonna work. I tested it and it works. Load order is specific. And no you don't patch the original Aventus mod. You just need to adjust the load order.

      Should be as follows.

      AdoptAventus
      Aventus Fully Voiced
      SkyChild
      AventusSkyChild Patch

Also if you use any other of my Aventus patches they go after Aventus Fully Voiced, then Skychild then Aventus Skychild patch.

Hmmm... I already had AdoptAventus as 110, Aventus Fully Voiced as 111, Skychild as 146 and AventusSkyChild Patch as 150. Maybe I had to quicksave, quickload? I'll try tomorrow.
Does the patch have to go below other Skychild patches? If you think so, I'll try that too.

That's really odd. I clean tested it though with no mods. Brand new save with only Adopt Aventus, and my mod Aventus Fully Voiced then SkyChild and my Aventus Fully Voiced SkyChild patch.

Hmm, that's really odd. Make sure you don't download any patches from the Original Adopt Aventus Mod except the main file.
Then as for Skychild patches load my patch after them all. Aventus Fully Voiced Skychild should come last.

IT WAS "INNOCENCE LOST - QUEST EXPANSION"!!!
The conflict was because of that mod. I keep forgetting that Aventus Aretino is adoptable AFTER completing his contract. I thought the issue was with the NPC, not the quest. I never put 2 and 2 together since I installed both that mod and Skychild at the same time.
I figured it out because after uninstalling the Skychild mod, the adoption dialogue still wouldn't trigger. Then I went to the Adopt Aventus Aretino page and found that there was a patch for that mod and Jayserpa's.

This was never your doing. Sorry for the trouble and thank you again for doing the skychild patch! It works perfectly now!

Sure, so it's basically done, or as done as I'll be able to get it lol. Athough I was able to fix that troublesome Loot Error it did eventually pop back up a few times, I may have fixed it again can't remember. But I've added more dialogue. I held off on uploading it because I thought about uploading an Aventus Expansion instead which would be alot more advanced. We'll see.
      Thank you, you as well!
